DragonBall EX: Fighters' Resurrection


MUGEN is a 2D fighting game engine, but you probably knew that already. MUGEN is also an acroymn for something, but they forgot what it is. :) They created MUGEN not only to make a fighting game, but also to let others create their own fighting games. You can control almost every aspect of the engine to suit your tastes. That's the primary goal of MUGEN. Since this is a work in progress, there are many things that it can and cannot do. , but here's a short list of some of the things you can do...

- Customizable title screen, character select screen, life and power bars, game sound effects, fonts and more
- Characters can have any number of sounds and sprites of any size limited by your computer's memory
- Up to 12 different color schemes for each character
- Background music can be mp3, mod, midi or CD audio
- Supports keyboard, joystick and Playstation joypads (through the use of a converter).


Game Engine
- Use up to 6 buttons for a character (7 if you count the Start button)
- Regular moves/Special moves/Supers
- Projectiles
- Multiple air jumps
- Move cancel/2-in-1 or whatever you want to call it
- Multi-part moves/throws
- What your character can do is defined by how you build his state machine


How MUGEN? ---------- MUGEN is being developed in C with DJGPP and Allegro. It is being compiled with gcc 2.95.2 and linked with Allegro 3.9.34 WIP.

Why MUGEN? ---------- To tell you the truth, they were making a shooting game and all of a sudden it turned into this. Although they were making a shooting game in the beginning, they noticed that there weren't any good commercial fighting games on the PC.

Thanks to this program, Goku and I have been making two games. The game that Goku made is like a collection. Basically, this game has any character from any cartoon from DBZ to Final Fury to Street Fighters to X-Men to etc. The game that Gohan made is about DragonBall to DragonBall Z to DragonBall GT to....what we call...Dragonball EX. In this game we bring back all the good and evil guys back for one final showdown. We even bring in some new one too. That why I called it DragonBall EX: Fighters' Resurrection. I called it DragonBall EX because this takes place during DragonBall EX, The site's fanfiction story.



Dragonball EX: Fighters' Resurrection 1, version 1,

- 77 characters from DragonBall, DragonBall Z, DragonBall GT, and some from DragonBall EX.
- 4 music from from DragonBall, DragonBall Z, DragonBall GT, and FF8.
- 28 stages from DragonBall, DragonBall Z, DragonBall GT and others.

Dragonball EX: Fighters' Resurrection 2, version 2, will consist of more stages, music and characters

Dragonball EX: Fighters' Resurrection 3, version 3, will consist of more stages, music and characters

Dragonball EX: Fighters' Resurrection Final, version 4, will consist of all stages, music and characters, and hidden characters.

This game is one of the first games for it series. I have spent a lot of time on this game. Before you go asking me if i can help u make a game or something i think u should read the site readme file and the Mugen readme file. Now that that is over, let's get to the game. I tried to upload the game but It took forever so I had to break down it into parts. You will need to download all five parts to play the game. Don't worry about where am i going to put it on my comp or where I unzip it to? The game is an install program that installs the game where it is suppose to go(provided that YOU DON'T CHANGE the Location of where it is suppose to go). The game might look kind of funny at the character selection screen due to the fact that this is not the full version of version 1. I just took a couple of characters out so just bare with me. Everything with be back together in the full version of version 1. Anyways, here are the game setup programs. Again, You will need to download all five setups to play the game.
