the suburban american tract-home project was released on may 7, 2000. this was buzi's 21'st birthday so the cd release was a crazed drunken celebration of coming of age and a great comp. the whole project was recorded in 1 day at burnt ramen studies in
richmond, ca. it was a great experience to record with 7 bands in 1 session. it was basically a punk rock party in the ghetto that is richmond. those bitches in hit by a semi missed out by just recording in chico. i don't know why they suck so much and didn't want to be involved in a scene wide booze soaked road trip. i guess they were too busy sucking of the guys over at sacred art tattoo trying to get some free ink. interesting to note that their song mr. punk rock is about jimmy lo of the no goodnix. they were also too big of pussies to sing it at the cd release party. if you're going to talk shit, you should at least back it up. it's alright, they're no talent hacks just biting that so. cal. shit sound that chicks seem to love. they're about as original as puff daddy's bitch ass. me, shawn, and zeke came back down the following week to mix it down. it was then mastered by me.
