This man is well known around the field, John Bir. He is a very experienced
flyer and has been in this hobby for over ten years. Over the weekend of June
29th and 30th John lost two of his big aircraft. On Saturday he lost his Cap
232 and Sunday the Crash Demons claimed his ever popular Extra 300 XS. John
took his loss very well by saying "That's why they call it a hobby" The loss of
the Extra even though it was not my airplane hurt. Probably as much as it hurt
John.
