Washington, District of Colombia -- People across the world listened to Bush's speech Monday night. Many felt disappointed and frustrated over his glassy expression and continued struggle with the English language. Unbeknownst to the world, the teleprompter, which the President uses to give a speech, was set to "intelligent". This setting, typically used for Ari Fliescher, was inappropriate for Bush because it was just, as he pointed out later, "too darned fast, like a Texas rattler escaping the boot of an ol' cowpoke". |
