"Alexis can I speak to you, alone for a minute?" Cameron asked.

"Sure," she replied, taking Kristina from Lulu and putting her back in her crib. "Can you keep an eye on her for a minute, I need to talk to DR Lewis for a minute."

"You can count on me." Lulu assured her.

"Thanks."

"Are you crazy?" Cameron asked as soon as they were out of the room.

"Why does everyone keep asking me that?"

"Perhaps it's your choice of husband. Alexis what happened, I mean did you... do you remember..."

"Wait a minute, Alexis stopped him as she realised what he was implying. "You think Kristina married Luke?"

"Well, it makes more sense than you marrying him."

"Trust me she had better taste than that, then again maybe not, she did love Ned..."

"Alexis be serious."

"Fine, I married Luke, of free will and sound mind, well for the most part," she emended with a smirk. "Anyway the reason I came here was because you told me I might be able to bring Kristina home."

"Alexis I don't..."

"Come on Cameron, Kristina hasn't shown up for weeks except in our sessions, I'm getting better and I want to bring my daughter home."

"Fine."

"Did you just say fine?"

"Yes, I find it very difficult to say no to you." He told her smiling.

"Oh, thank you thank you..." she quickly embraced him in a hug and leaned in to kiss his cheek. However at the last second he turned his head so that she ended up actually kissing him. He was quick to take advantage of the situation, pulling her closer to him, his hands tangling in her hair.

Suddenly Alexis pulled away from him looking shocked.

"We can't do this."

"Why not?"

"You want the short list? You're my doctor, I'm married, my stepdaughter is in the next room..."

"Okay, I get it, I'm sorry."

"You should be."

"You know you weren't exactly an unwilling participant." He reminded her.

Ignoring his comment she returned to the nursery.

"Come on Lulu, we'll go get something to eat at Kelly's then we'll come back for Kristina."

The little girl nodded her agreement and watched silently as Alexis picked up her daughter and gave her a goodbye kiss before leaving. It wasn't the first kiss she had witnessed Alexis give in the last few minutes.

"Hey Dad, what's up?" Lucky asked as he entered Luke's where his father had asked to meet him.

"I wanted to talk to you, to tell you something before you heard it somewhere else." Luke told him with a nervous look.

"Oh no, what did you do now?"

Just do it quick, like a Band-Aid, Luke though.

"I married Alexis."

"Davis?"

"You know another one?"

"You married Alexis?"

"Yes, Alexis, Alexis Davis well Alexis Davis Spencer now."

"Is this some sort of joke?" Lucky asked, clearly confused.

"Hey what's going on?" Nikolas asked as he entered the bar.

"My Dad married Alexis." Lucky said though he still didn't really believe it.

"No really, what's going on?"

"Okay listen up boys, this is the last time I say this, Alexis and I are married, legally bonded, we have tied the knot, sealed the deal, got hitched whatever you want to call it."

"Why would you marry Alexis, I mean I know she's hot but..."

"Hey, that's my aunt you're talking about." Nikolas objected.

"Sorry, but I mean, with those legs and..."

"Hey, that's your stepmother you're talking about."

"Never mind why you married Alexis, why would she marry you?" Nikolas demanded.

"Did you ever think she might be madly in love with me?" Neither young man could contain his laughter which was soon joined by a ringing phone.

"All right fine, don't believe me." Luke told them as he reached for his phone.

"Talk to me, Sweetlips."

"You actually answer your phone like that?" Alexis demanded.

"I have caller ID."

"Whatever, I need to ask you something."

"Changed your mind about the honeymoon didn't you?" He taunted.

"Luke I'm serious."

"Fine what do you need?"

"Dr Lewis said I can bring Kristina home today."

"That's great."

"Yeah the thing is, we're married."

"You just realised this?"

"My point is, married people usually live together."

"Oh right ... um... I guess you and Kristina will have to move into the house, if that's okay?"

"Do you have enough room?"

"I don't take up to much room, though I'm told I hog the blankets, oh and I prefer the left side."

"I meant enough room in the house, not you bed."

"These days there's plenty of room in both." Luke lamented.

"Well I'm afraid the second will remain so ... um I'll need to get some of my stuff."

"Don't worry the boys are here with me, we'll take care of it."

"The boys?"

"Lucky and Nikolas."

"Did you tell them?"

"Yeah, they're thrilled for us."

"I'll bet. Wait a minute how are you going to get into my place?"

"Don't worry I've never met a lock I couldn't charm."

"You are not breaking into my apartment."

"But..."

"No. Lulu and I are on our way to Kelly's, meet us there and I'll give you a key."

"Now that we're married you never let me have any fun." Luke complained before hanging up the phone.

Alexis and Lulu were half way through a plate of French fries when someone familiar walked into Kelly's. The woman approached their table and greeted Lulu with a friendly smile. Since the two women didn't appear to know each other Lulu took it upon herself to introduce them.

"Alexis this is Summer, Daddy's friend and Summer this is Alexis, Daddy's wife."
