"Hello Alexis, and to think not that long ago you could barely admit you liked me."
"Obviously I didn't know it was you." Alexis told him defensively.
"Ah, so you just figured it was time to settle down and decided to proclaim your love to the next person who knocked on your door. Lucky me. Hello Sasha." He said entering the room and ignoring Alexis' outraged expression
"Hi, Mr Corinthos, we were just talking about you." Sasha told him smiling like the proverbial cat.
"No, we weren't." Alexis denied quickly shooting Sasha a look.
"So Sasha what was she saying about me?" Sonny asked coming to sit beside the girl on the sofa. "And I insist you call me Sonny." He added with a grin.
Glancing at Alexis Sasha decided she valued her life more than the truth.
"Sorry Sonny, I can't say."
"I don't suppose you'd like to tell me." He asked Alexis.
"What are you doing here Sonny?" She asked ignoring his question.
"Can't you guess?"
"I'm not in the mood for games."
Sasha watched the situation deteriorate and decided to step in.
"I'm hungry."
Both Sonny and Alexis turned to her in surprise, having forgotten she was there.
"We just ate a bowl of popcorn." Alexis reminded her.
"But I didn't have lunch, maybe I could make a sandwich."
"Have you seen her kitchen?" Sonny asked.
"I know but there's a store just down the street from here, I could run and pick up some provisions, give you two a chance to talk."
"Do you honestly think I'm going to let you go shopping by yourself?
"Hey, I think I have a solution to your problem Sasha. You see my friend Johnny happens to live next door and I can assure you his kitchen is fully stocked." Without waiting for either of them to reply Sonny walked out Alexis' door and across the hall to Johnny's, Sasha following close behind. Sonny knocked on the door and Johnny appeared almost at once, holding a sandwich.
"You planned this." Alexis accused Sonny, who couldn't help laughing. For his part Johnny looked from one to the other wondering what he had just walked into.
"Johnny, this is Sasha Capwell, she's hungry and well you know Alexis doesn't like to keep edibles in the house..."
"No problem boss, come on in Sasha, what would you like?"
Before she could object Sonny led Alexis back to her place while Johnny led Sasha to the kitchen.
"So Sasha what are you in the mood for, ham and cheese, turkey?"
"Johnny can I tell you a secret.
"Sure."
"I'm not really hungry, I just wanted to give Sonny and Alexis, I mean my Mom a chance to talk."
"Ah, I see." Johnny said, ignoring the "my Mom" comment for the moment. Anything in particular you want them to talk about."
"A ton, those two should be locked in a room and not allowed to come out until they kiss and make up."
"I have to admit Sasha, I've had similar thoughts myself." Johnny told her smiling at the girl, he had a feeling his job was about to get a lot more interesting.
"Johnny I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
