I bought the Celica last October with 80k miles on it. It had 225's for tires on it and came with a 2nd full set of the same GT-S/Supra rims, but with smaller tires. Now I think there are 195's on the rims cuz I couldn't afford better/didn't have any other size in stock anyways. It has a bondo spot on it from previous owner and was missing the bumpstrips on the doors. When I save $$$ for paint job, I'm gonna have to remove all the bumpstrips and gonna fill in the holes where the side marker lights are on (they were fine but I think I'll like it better with them off). I'm guessing it was in an accident before I got it cuz it has different colored fenders and hood, plus the bondo spot is up pretty high so it looks like it rolled over! But all other evidence doesn't prove this cuz there is no noticable body damage. Other then the different colored fenders the car is in great shape. Interior is perfect! Due to salting of roads here during winter snow, there is a few very small spots of rust, nothing major, and will be fixed before I get a paint job.

I have done some damage of my own during a mean Northeastern winter storm (I hate Connecticut weather). I slid on some black ice and went off road and hit a big hard rock wall, had two friends in the car but nobody was hurt, that'll teach them to wear their seat belts. I always wear mine, and yell at them to wear theirs in even the best of weather, they weren't wearing any this time and they were lucky but I wasn't going that fast. Did manage to take the rock wall down, backed out quick (boulders everywhere) onto the road and took off quick because the house was about 5 feet from the rock wall and I wasn't about to pay for that. I drove quickly to my friends house which was about 20 more feet up the road.

Damage done to the car was actually pretty minor, a dent in the fender and a broken corner/blinker light. Lemme find an old pic of it...

There we go, also some minor scratches on the front bumper. So after searching several junkyards, I finally found a new blinker light for $30. I also had to drive about 4-5 hours to Long Island, NY, where I bought another fender w/flare in good condition from somebody who was parting out his celi. Forget his name now but he posted about his car on the old celica-gts.com message forum. Fender fit perfect (of course) but it was silver, now making my car's color a 4-tone. As you can guess there are barely any other 3rd Gen's around, most I've seen was 2 in a junkyard, and maybe one other in somebody's yard.

At this point my car was back to its good looking, yet colorful, old self. More bad news, after a drunken party I was at, my girlfriend's brother backed into my car with his monster truck looking ranger. Its a couple feet lifted in the air and his back bumper was lined up perfect with my headlight, smashing it to pieces. So I had to take out my broken diamond-cut (or euro, whatever its called) and put in the old boring sealed beam headlight. I found a guy right down the road selling the entire headlight assembly and I should buy it and install it this next weekend coming up, the current assembly doesn't go all the way back down (you'll see this in the pics).

Only things that have gone wrong with engine is bad water pump which ended up vibrating my clutch fan destroying the fins and fan shroud into peices, but some how the radiator wasn't touched. That's when I converted to an electric fan (taken out of early 90's V6 Camry, with room for another making it duals whenever I have the time to find another one). Other thing wrong with car is my hatch doesn't open when pulling the lever, but that's everything I can think of that went wrong, everything else is perfect.
