XIII Maple Shadows Play

Five months after Tasha passed away we lost Gordie.  He was Mike's ever faithful companion and everyone who met him fell in love with his endearing ways.  I will miss him terribly.  Before he left I whispered in his ear....go find now I hope the two have found each other and are romping in the fields at Rainbow Bridge...the two practically grew up together

Blujor Waikiki Nikki

He left this world but his spirit still lives on.

He was a favorite among the children

Nikki was always clowning around!

The winter before he left us.

May Nikki run with the others free from all pain.  You were a wonderful companion..thank you for being a part of my life!  I miss you!

Ch. Tallyrand Believe in Miracles

A loving mother, a devoted companion, she left us all too soon.

She is the mother of Darby, Joshua, Maize, Ari and a few others...Grandma of Hagrid, Sophie etc.  She was a miracle to the very end.  We all miss her!

Thank you Tim Mathiessen for awarding Miracle the 5 point major..that was one of the most thrilling wins of my life.  This I will always remember!

Last picture taken of him on July 4th 2005 just before he said good-bye

It was with great sadness that this wonderful boy left so soon.  He was my best friend, wonderful companion and my shadow.  I will miss having him snuggle up to me at night and waking me up in the mornings, I will miss his yelling at me whenever he wants something or just wants to yell at me, I will miss his gentle nature...he always made friends wherever we went, I will miss petting him in the front seat while I am driving, I will miss his nudging me whenever he wanted a little more love.  He taught me so much about life.  He was truly very special.  May the lord God embrace him.  Good-bye does not mean forever Harley, it just means till we see each other again.  Enjoy rainbow bridge and all the creatures that have gone over.  Your spirit will be with me in my heart.

The Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.  It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.  Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.  There is always food, water and warm spring weather.  The old and frail animals are young again.  Those who are maimed are made whole again.  They play all day with each other.

There is only one thing missing.  They are not with their special person who loved them on earth.  So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly looks up.  The nose twitches!  The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her into your arms and embrace.  Your face is kissed again and again and you look into the eyes of your trusting pet.  The you cross the rainbow bridge together, never again to be separated.

To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me, let me go -
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustnít tie yourself to me with tears -
be thankful for our beautiful years.

I gave to you my love; you can only guess
how much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
but now it's time I traveled on alone.

So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a time that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away, for life goes on.
So if you need me call - and I will come.
Though you cannot see me or touch me - I will be near,
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear,
all my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile and say:

"Welcome Home"
