Throughout the time that 3M has exsisted lots of things have changed. Some for the better and some for the worst. Over time there have been a lot of different economic bumps as well. Luckily 3M is strong in Europe, America and Asia. 3M has been recently growing in profits and grows stronger every month. Although there is a new CEO replacing McNerney the new CEO expresses the same work ethica as Jim and keeps everything in line.
3M has had to overcome a lot of endevers and thanks to Transactional and Transformational Leadership the company has been able to avoid many problems that occur in large businesses trying to start out. As profits grow for 3M it is a thrill ride just to watch what they may do next. We only hope that more businesses pick up on the styles of leadership and can cope as well as 3M did with them.
