But he wouldn't let her leave. His arms were around her waist, and he tightened them.
Looking up at him in suprise, Elizabeth repeated, "Todd - please. I'd better go after Tom."
But Todd merely looked down at her. "Liz, for God's sake, one lousy dance. Is that too much to ask? Watts can wait. Don't you get it? I love you. I've always loved you, I will always love you. When are you going to admit you feel the same way?" He tightened his grip on her still further, pressing his body against hers from shoulder to knee.
"No, Todd!" Elizabeth cried, pushing against him. "Tom is my boyfriend now, and Alexandra is your girlfriend! Now let me go!" Around them people were staring, watching their struggle.
