Jessica pushed open the door to Ryan's room and immediately felt the blood rush to her face. The blinds were drawn, and the only light was from a lamp whose shade had been covered by a piece of blue silk material. Ryan was lying across his bed, his tanned, muscular body bare except for a skimpy square-cut bathing suit. In the dim light his body glowed like a Greek god's.
"Jessica," he exclaimed, sitting up. "What a suprise. Come on in. I'm glad to see you."
Jessica stumbled into the small room, her eyes glued to Ryan's poerful swimmer's physique. "I'm glad to see you too," she managed, falling squarely onto a rikety wooden stool a few feet from his bed. She widened her eyes in mock astonishment. "And so much of you."
Ryan threw back his head and laughed. That's what I love about you, Jessica - you're always quick." He lay back on his bed, stretching his hands behind his head, his biceps flexing. "You obviously know how to have a good time."
Jessica ran a slender hand through her long blonde hair and gave him a sly look. "Fun's my middle name."
Ryan patted the checkered bedspread beside him. "Wouldn't you be more comfortable sitting here?"
Jessica gulped. I'll say, she thought, slipping her hands, palms down, beneath her thighs and sitting on them. But I have a feeling I'll get in a lot less trouble if I stay over here.
