Jessica looked around her. There were glowing candles and headily scented flowers all through the living room. Music played softly in the background - rauncy, sensuous blues. The table was covered with a black cloth and set for two. On one of the plates was an orchid tinted the blue-green of the sea.
This can't be ral, she told herself. I must be in aa movie or a fairy tale . . . Mike came up behind her, cocooning her in his arms, his kisses like fireflies dancing on her skin. Or in a dream . . .
"I made salmon mousse to start," he whispered, the fireflies moving gently down her neck. "And chicken in wine and herbs for the entree." The fireflies started a tango across her back. "And for dessert -"
