October 22, 2003 Updated Meridian from the Multimedia section. I have track listing up now. No news about flash intros, you know how I am. Maybe soon. Maybe not. Come to plaza! We will not have the new cd for that show but definitely for the Crossroads if not before. October 20, 2003 Updated shows. Will have Meridian ready for Crossroads show (or before). More later. Goodbye. October 13, 2003 Hooray!!! 1000!!!! Meridian is also very close to being complete and in packaging phase (which means we should be getting copies made soon). Sorry there isn't much super fun time for the whole 1000 thing, I figured you guys could pretend the site was cool or maybe VISIT THE FORUM FOR A CHANGE? I added Ant Farm to the lyrics section, and I don't think it's too early to assume that the 14 songs in the lyric section will be the 14 songs on the album. What order? Wait and find out. Why? Because I am too lazy to tell you. Goodnight. October 8, 2003 Go check out A Klockwork Khaki Yes, the third and final Docker's update is here. They responded to my last mail (see October 6 and 7). October 7, 2003 Today, I got a response from the Dockers people! (note: I put my name
in the e-mail thing as "Shteve Jackson")(Read October 6 update
for more info if you haven't already). I also sent a second email. October 6, 2003 Today I sent an e-mail to the Dockers company that you can read at A Klockwork Khaki. This is real, I did send this to dockers, and I am now patiently awaiting a response. Just thought I'd share with you guys my feelings about wrinkle-free pants. That is all. God speed. October 5, 2003 Hi everyone! closing in on 1000, very exciting. Also, I am not as bitter today as I was when I updated yesterday. New album called "Meridian" is going to be happening within a few weeks most likely, probably $5. Updated some show stuff and that's about it. Doesn't look promising for early October but we are looking for a third show in November. Bye. October 4, 2003 So we are very much on the way to completing our new album. Some of its still a bit fuzzy, everyone hates me, I am being bombarded by my parents about college and essays, I have updated the shows with the crossroads show which is all ages, there has been little advancement on the comedy album, and no advancement in the flash intro. Are we at 1000 yet? I am too lazy to check. If we are, I love you all. If not, I still love you all but there are less of you than I thought. More on that later. Also, old e.p. has been $3 for awhile now, but only just now have I updated that from the multimedia section. I am sorry, I have failed you all. Goodnight. September 29, 2003 Sorry about the lack of updates, I am lazy. A lot of stuff going on with the old college search and stupid pointless mind-numbing homework. So I'm sorry that I yet have no flash intro, but I have good news. We are done recording the new album, tentatively titled "Meridian", and will just need maybe a week before we finish with mixing and last-minute types of stuff. The cover artist, Ricky once again, has brought us yet another great piece that we will use. The album will probably have 14 tracks, including the six that were on "Battle of Innocence" and "away from you" from our very first Lost Cause demo. We have re-recorded "the adoption" from that one, at a faster tempo which seems to have cut off 1:30 from the song. So that's, like, six songs that you've never heard recorded before. So there you go. We are excited. It seems that we are trying to get a show going for early october, but that is tentative as well. Some kind of cd-release thing is probably going to happen at some point. The Crossroads show is also moved, and tentative too! It seems that the no moshing rule there has caused some bad blood amongst many-a-band who have seen their beloved fans removed from the premesis. Also, we are still working on the comedy album which has a few interesting surprises. SURPRISES INDEED. Toasty the malinformed waffle iron is supposed to be the next intro but you know how that goes. Goodnight. September 15, 2003 Nothing much new as far as news except I have a new intro up. It's not Toasty but it'll do. My first movie that ever stuck on the newgrounds site. Please vote! The Advantages of Staying Awake for 72 Hours September 14, 2003 Thanks to everybody who was able to attend the show last night with Infernal Empire. At the beginning the *danger* alarm was going off because my amp wasn't working, but thanks to eric who is my lord and saviour, we were able to make a temporary fix and get it up and running again. Much like the last time at the skyclub, we played for the other band and not many other people, but i have to say it was all fun anyway. Noone usually attends our shows, so to have people there in any way shape or form was fun. Infernal Empire went on after us and kicked a lot of @$$ (pardon that, my 'a' and 's' keys are broken on my keyboard) They're really heavy, so if your into that kinda stuff go check them out. Even if you're not, their singer has a great voice for death metal. That's about how my night went. You? September 10, 2003 I added joypad comics to the links, mike is planning to host mr. microphone on it which makes everyone happy. More in Mr. Microphone news, it has come to our attention that the opening sequence and constant use of the F bomb in that animation has caused dismay in the more proffessional and moral people that come to the site. Specifically people's parents. Specifically our parents. So we have taken that out of the intro and replaced it with the old train intro in hopes of solving that problem and preventing further embarrassment. Mr. Microphone is still available in the animation barn, but that seems a little more out of the way and less likely to be seen. sorry to all of you who looked up to us for that touching footage. September 8, 2003 I hope the dozen or so people at Dianne's birthday party enjoyed the show. Ten Count Fall played before us and were sweeeet as usual, their bass player now has a wireless so he ran about the yard a little and of all the bands i have seen live i would say that ten count fall is probably the most entertaining. Their guitarist broke a glass that he thought was plastic and apologized the whole night for it. Very fun times. Then we played and had to stop a little early ::cough:: because of the noise ::cough cops cough:: and that had nothing to do with police or anything. But overall very fun, and we wish dianne a happy 19th year. (remember that when you are 0 it is your first year, meaning that I have taken that into account because she is 18 but I'll leave that for St. Augustine) We are planning something in early october, nothing for sure yet. I know, there isn't a flash intro yet, I am lazy and don't expect much from me. I updated the biography and it kind of features "DAN JOHNSON" who is now our drummer. I added ten count fall to the links, check them out. That has been long delayed because I am lazy. Bye. September 2, 2003 Ok, so i updated the shows a bit, we're planning more stuff in october and also some in november but i'm still not 100% on that so you'll get it when i do. I believe we are doing an acoustic set sunday at dianne's birthday party, but don't go if you are not invited, not that you even know where it's at. That's about all the news from the news desk. How was your first day back at high school? mine was... well... nevermind. I'm not going to go there. sorry about the late flash intro, i am very lazy. keep checking on that though. August 29, 2003 I made a message board, as seen above. Go to it. Say how you feel. August 25, 2003 Hi everybody, Huge old thanks to all y'all who came out to the Nyabinghi show that benefited section 8 (sxn. 8 got screwed up from the floods). It was Oren's last show and we love him but he is going to college to get some larnin' und stuff so's he's goin all outta boardman. So I cry about that, but we are currently trying to get more drummer up and running so things should change smoothly. We're gonna miss that Oren kid. I think Tom and Adam haven't missed one of our shows ever. They're always there and I can always hear a "yeah tyler" from the crowd. And I know that they are still there, watching our every move and video taping hobos named woody. "shake my left hand with your left hand and now we know each other" I need to see that tape. Production on comedy album continues to no end. We have begun recording our 6 originals that haven't been recorded/recorded in awhile. Toasty malinformed waffle iron not coming along too quickly. Check back later. Vote. Post. Scheme and plunder. |
