Approximately 13 years old. Picture taken at Central School. I allways had to protect her. I remember walking home from school one day and throwing a brick at a fellow for touching her after I told him if he touched her agian I'd throw a brick at him....Needless to say he put a finger on her to tempt me and he got 23 stiches in his head. I loved my sister,,almost killed for her at age 12. |

Approximately age 14 sitting in the back yard on buckingham street. Boy do I have some memories of that place. Those were the days she constantly told dad to shut up and sit on it. I protected her from him once. She made these statements once too often and dad said he was gonna kill her...,figure of speech he wouldn't hurt anyone,,,,I ran out the door and called the law on him,,,then he was looking for me.....My love had no bounds. |

Approximately 16 yrs old. Now living in Texas with her new family. I was living with my new family too. I remember those days too....The letters I used to get about her parents moving to a new country and how they were gonna ruin her life, that is her love life, how she love that Dave. |

We learned a lot of odd things about eachother that year, not only that we boutght the same clothes but that we also used all the same name products,,How odd, living so far apart and not talking or seeing one another I thought only twins did this |

The two sisters who have much in common for not growing up together or talking,,,Use same personal products,,,buy's the same clothes,,,,met their men at young ages,and are still with them 20 years later. Guess these two really meant it when they said "I Do" Both went to college to try to make a difference in their lives too.,,,,Both avoided their blood mother at any cost, Unlike their two brothers. Yet we were the two who showed up together without the brothers, to our blood mothers funeral and showed eachother support. I know I was scarred to death to go...And I know deep down she was too but we did it. And together. I couldn't have have done it without her. As a matter of fact I would not have done it without her. I thank God and you Gloria. Thanks |
