Please everybody show up at 6:00 pm for double headers, 6:15 pm for all other games!!!

I still need 120 dollars from many people on the team!!! You know who you are!  Please bring to the next game!

Results from the last game:

Both captain and assistant captain missed the last game.  I heard it was bad.  Therefore I will just leave it at that, and state that in the future, the assistant captain will not be allowed to give such short notice of missing the game due to a golf tournament.  Only the captain is allowed to leave for a golf tourney!

Okay.... I admit I haven't written much in terms of messages from past games, but I have not been as happy of an individual in the last while.  I particularly don't really like having to lose the game because of an on field default.  I do not blame anyone for that.  I am just unhappy about that.

Well let's hope that we will have a win this Friday at our next game.  And I pray that we have enough players!

Great First Game!!!

14 - 2 game, called in the 5th inning.  Always a good sign, when we kick the other team so bad, that the game is called on MERCY!

Hmmmmm, tidbits from the game.  I must say the captain did a great job from the sidelines, no?  All those orders being barked must have helped to motivate all you lazy sloths.

Sterling "foul hitting, sliding catching, pitching wannabe..."  really needs to get his mind out of the island and finally acknowledge he is on somewhat solid ground in vancouver.

Karen is extremely patient at first trying to catch all the *ahem* "accurate" throws from the infield.  Good job, now if you were only 5 feet taller with a 10 foot longer wingspan, you may actually catch some more balls.

So far, I like how the team is progressing, we have a good line-up, good spirit, I think we are scaring the umps into making the calls for us, for fear that we would unleash either kevin or sterling upon them...

Okay, feeble practice people.  Only 5 people showed up!!!  That is pathetic!

From now on, we are starting a toonie jar, everytime someone is late, or doesn't show up, then they have to place a toonie in the jar.  At the end of the season, the toonies will be used to fund the party.  With my experience of this group, I think that the jar will be quite large indeed!
