Author's Note: This story was written a while back, well before The Art of Discovery, and I've just reread it again and decided I was proud enough of it to post it. It may be a little confusing at times, but I hope you all get it. It was only after the reading that I realized that this character is ALSO named Shane (opposed to Shanye in the Art of Discovery) and I found it strange that of the two stories I would decide were good enough of the tens of others, both would have characters named Shane. It's my lucky name now. Anyway, enjoy!
