The idea first came about on The Hanson.net forums. Stefanie (love4zac) Decided that we needed to pass around a Hanson.net Chain. She posted the idea on the Random Ramblings, Imeadiately I reponded with my idea and together we colaborated creating the PHOTO FAN BOOK We want to collect as many pictures of members as we can! Make a little fan book, with our photo's, why we are a fan thing about us Ect. And send it to Hanson
Here's How It works:
What'd needed to start the chain: 6 or 7 People who are willing to pay for a one time use camera, and buy a note book (from a Dollar store of course) And People who want to participate! What Will Happen:
Each Camera and note book will be numbered from 1 to 6(or 7). Members will take a picture of themself with their City sign (The one that says WELCOEM TO BOOMTANGVILLE POPULATION WEEE), Write a message about themselves, where they are from, why they are a Hanson Fan and what being a fan means to them. Then they will mail the package on to the next Member, who will take their pic with their city sign, write their message, and pass it on. Ect,ect. What About those who are participating?: All those who are participating will be posted here by Name and Location, with an E-mail link.. No addresses will be given out what so ever, those who are looking to PASS ON the package, are asked to check the list and choose someone off it from as far as possible and aproach them through E-mail for their home address. Those who have been chossen to be SENT The package are asked to contact me so I can take them off the list, so no one sends them a camera for the second time. How Can We Keep Track Of It?: When we figure out those who will help us start the chain, each Camera will be CLEARLY marked somewhere it will not come off! Everytime a Camera Leaves a city, we ask either Myself or Stefanie be notified. As well everytime a Camera ARRIVES at it's destination, we ask that Myself or Stefanie be notified.(This is where we ask those participating to e-mail us when they ship it off and/or receive the package) For Example, I start with Camera 1, I'm in Stoney Creek Ontario Canada. I send it to someone in Long Island New York once I've taken my picture and written my Message. When it LEAVES my possesion it will be posted CAMERA 1 IS ON THE RUN, DESTINATION: LONG ISLAND NEW YORK. Once it ARRIVES in NY, it will be posted, CAMERA ONE HAS OFFICIALLY MADE IT'S DESTINATION... NEW DESTINATION IS (Insert one here) And so on and so forth. What About Development?: All members wishing to participate are asked to be willing to spend the money on shipping and handling and/or Development (In the case they receive a camera with only 1 Photo left to take.) What Happens When The Camera's Are Developed?: Once a Member has received the camera, taken the last picture, written there message and gotten the film developed. They are asked to send the Photo's, Negetives, and Message book for their camera to our Final Editor (Please make sure the message book, and Photo's clearly show WHICH camera they were from). Once all the Photo's and info are in the Final Editors hands, they will be scanned and sent to Me so I can post them on this club for everyone to see. Offline, our Final Editor will put together a very spiffy looking fan book and send it off to Hanson for us! Why is this so important?: Well it's not important. But it is a good way of bringing the fans from around the world together. It gives us another way of interating, and getting to know each other. It also allows us to personaly get the chance to send out thank you's and our personal message to Hanson themselves. Which in turn will hopefully keep them around for another 7 to 37 years! How Many People Do You Want To Participate?: If we start out with 6 or 7 Camera's we will have Aprrox. 140-170 people who participated. Thats an amazing total, but if we can get more people interested we will UP the amount of Camera's being passed around. I am hoping we get just over 200 people interested in helping out with this Chain! Would You Like To Participate? Just send Stefanie an E-mail and ask her!
