Anabolic Steroids are a large group of naturally occuring and synthetic hormones, lipids, or fat soluble chemicals used to help the growth of muscles and other tissues. They are derivatives of the natural male hormone testosterone. Most steroids are known as performance enhancing drugs. These are like any other drugs. they can be swallowed, injected, or inhaled.
They were originally developed to help cancer patients and victims of starvation. When perscribed by a doctor for medical purposes, anabolic steroids are legal. But, for other reasons without a perscription they are illegal. Either way the steroids are addictive!!
