America Under Attack: A Special Tribute

September 11, 2001, is a day that will be forever remembered as the worst day in American history. The day that America was attacked when two commercial airliners hit the World Trade Center killing thousands when both Twin Towers collapsed in which most are still missing. The day when another commercial airliner hit The Pentagon, the center of the United States military, that killed at least 100 people. The day that another commercial airliner crashed in Pennsylvania killing everyone aboard. I, personally, never thought that our great nation would ever be attacked by another country. My heart goes out to those lost and to the families and friends of the victims. I would like to commend all of the rescue personnel, the police officers, the fire fighters, the doctors, nurses, and all of the people involved in the rescue/recovery/clean-up efforts in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. To quote President George W. Bush, "Terrorism against our nation will not stand." The terrorist think that they have scared the people of the United States and they have not. Like the saying says, "United we stand and divided we fall." The United States, is for sure, standing united.
