About Talena

I got into arts and crafts when I was young, as both my parents are into a variety of crafts. I was teaching crafts with my Mama in my pre-teens. In school I took most of the arts and crafts classes they would let me put into my schedule, drawing, woodwork, jewelry, pottery, you name it.

I have been making Native American crafts since 1996. Making dream catchers started out as a hobby to keep me busy while I was in the Army. I enjoyed it and started making other projects, I enjoy the challenge. People liked what I was making and started asking me to make dream catchers, etc. for them. Now I have some up in stores and have been known to take special requests.

I am married and have 3 dogs, who think they are furry little children.

Here you see my newest interest, as I have made most (not all) of the stuff you see on my pages. Some of my friends have been telling me I ought to make a web page for myself for a while now, so here it is. Now I am back in school for web design, which keeps me really busy. So when I get free time from school and homework I work on my crafts.
