The legend of the Dream Catchers is believed to have originated many generations ago. They were hung above the sleeping person to gaurd against bad dreams. The Dream Catcher allows good dreams to pass through the hole in the web and down the feathers to the sleeping person and the bad dreams to be entangled in the web disappearing with the morning light.
