Any of you who seen my post about the mask party for halloween,if you're wondering how it went .... WELL it didn't.
We did go out to DW on halloween with full intentions of having a party. But the day went all wrong. I was planning on having the party at 11:00, and we didn't even get out there untill like 1 a.m.
I had no time in the day to go out there and set anything up like I was wanting to. No, not fake ghost, but some source of light(cause it is very dark out there), chairs, music, etc.
Anywho anywho, even though it was late me and 3 buddies still went out there. Tassie, Brandi, and Zach (my future brother-in-law).
Well I didn't want to walk down that long trail, so I drove on up to where we had to walk down a steep hill to get to the manor. Just something about that particular trail is kinda spooky. But I didn't care.
Anyways, I park and then nobody wants to go out to the manor! I was like, "Well I'll go by myself". Tassie didn't want me to go by myself so she said she'd go with me. Then Zach said he'd go. Brandi refused to get out of the car.
We only had three flash lights and I had done called shotgun on one. One was Zachs,and Tassie surely wasn't giving her flashlight up.
So we start to head down the trail and Brandi starts screaming, "No, don't leave me without a light. ZACH stay with me!" I was like "Oh dear GOD she's a blonde." We go back to the car and I tell her the keys are in the switch to turn the interior light on.
I also told her if she seen anyone coming down the road or anything at all to blow the horn and we'd come back.
So, we start down the trail again. We was all walking arm in arm, cause the place is kinda creepy. Well we get about half-way down the trail when we hear the horn blow and Brandi is screaming.
I about jumped out of my skin when I heard the horn blow. I was like turning around in circles wondering what the hell was going on.
Anywho, I yell loud enough for Brandi to hear me and I asked what was going on. She said she didn't want to be by herself and she wanted to leave. I asked her why she blowed the damn horn and scared everybody!
So I looked at Zach and Tassie and told them screw it... I was going home. I mean I had been planning this for like for-ever, and I couldn't even walk down to the manor on halloween because Brandi wouldn't get out the car and she wouldn't walk with us.
So we got back in the car and left. I told Brandi I wasn't taking her back out there. She had totally ruined my halloween. For the past 3 years I have tried to make it to the manor on halloween. Halloween 2000 was when I first heard about it, tried to find it then and couldn't. 2001 I just came back into town and didn't have a ride. 2002, I knew where it was, I had my car, I WAS THERE, and I still couldn't GO TO THE MANOR!!! UGH!!! Sickness....
NEXT HALLOWEEN, I will be there. No matter what,well I'll try .
