Character Name: Steve Rodgers
Character Alias: Captain America
E-mail Address: warlorddave@yahoo.com
Aim SN: clintzephyr84
Skills: 20
Character's History: Steve Rogers was born during the Depression and grew up a frail youth in a poor family. His father died when he was a child, his mother when he was in his late teens. Horrified by newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Rogers was inspired to try to enlist in the Army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, he was rejected. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea to be accepted, General Chester Phillips of the U.S. Army offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment called Operation: Rebirth. Rogers agreed and was taken to a secret laboratory in Washington, D.C. where he was introduced to Dr. Abrahan Erskine (code named: Prof. Reinstein), the creator to the Super-Soldier formula.
After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Soldier serum. Given part of the compound intravenously and another part orally, Rogers was then bombarded by "vita-rays," a special combination of exotic (in 1941) wavelengths of radiation designed to accelerate and stabilize the serum's effect on his body. Steve Rogers emerged from the vita-ray chamber with a body as perfect as a body can be and still be human. A Nazi spy who observed the experiment murdered Dr. Erskine mere minutes after its conclusion. Erskine died without fully committing the Super-Soldier formula to paper, leaving Steve Rogers the Sole beneficiary of his genius.
Roger was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program, teaching him gymnastics, hand-to-hand combat and military strategy. Three months later, he was given his first assignment, to stop the Nazi agent called the Red Skull. To help him become a symbolic counterpart to the Red Skull, Rogers was given the red, white, and blue costume of Captain America.
Character's Special Abilities: Captain America has agility, strength, speed, endurance, and reaction time superior to any Olympic athlete who ever competed. The Super-Soldier formula that he has metabolized has enhanced all of his bodily functions to the peak of human efficiency. Notably, his body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in his muscles, granting him phenomenal endurance.
Captain America has mastered the martial art of American-style boxing and judo, and has combined these disciplines with his own unique hand-to-hand style of combat.

Character Name: Matthew Murdock
Character Alias: Dare Devil
E-mail Address: Heartbreaka25@hotmail.com
Aim SN: SSJShadow25
Skill: 20
Character's History: Young Matt Murdock saw a truck about to hit a blind man, and hurled himself in front of it. This good deed changed his life forever, when a can of radioactive waste fell from the truck, broke open, and irradiated Murdock. The accident blinded the young New Yorker, but also mutagenically heightened his other senses. He later met a martial arts master, Stick, who taught him how to use his newly augmented senses - and trained him as a fighter. Murdock went on to college, and fell in love with Elektra Natchios. When Elektra fled, Murdock threw himself into his law studies. When his father, a boxer, was killed by mobsters when he refused to throw a fight, Murdock sought justice in vain. Finally disillusioned by the legal system, Murdock assumed the guise of Daredevil. Further fueled to vengeance and crime-fighting by the death of Elektra, Daredevil uses his radar senses to forever seek justice, whenever his law degree fails him.
Character's Special Abilities: Dare Devil possesses the normal human strength of a man his age, height, and build who engages in intensive regular exercise. Daredevil's five sense are heightened to beyond that of even superhumanly enhanced sense. Although Murdock is blind, he can "see" by means of his "radar sense", which acts not unlike sonar. Daredevil is an Olympic level athlete and gymnast, possessing extraordinary agility, endurance, skill and balance. Daredevil's unique fighting style (a blend of ninjitsu, judo and American-style boxing) makes effective use of his Billy Club, which is used as both a baton and grappling hook.

Character Name: Alex Summers
Character Alias: Havok
E-mail Address: ScbyGam14@yahoo.com
Aim SN: ScbyGam
Power Control: 15%
Character's History: Alexander Summers is the younger
of the two sons of Christopher Summers, a United States Air
Force Major and test pilot, and his wife Katherine Anne. Alex
and his mother and older brother Scott were flying back from
a vacation in Christopher's vintage airplane when the plane
crashed into a scout ship of the Shi'ar Empire, setting the
wooden plane ablaze. Katherine Anne Summers pushed Scott and
Alex out of the burning plane with the only available parachute.
Thus the two boys escaped the Shi'ar while their parents did
not. Scott and Alex both believed their parents had been killed
until as adults they were reunited with their father, who
had since become Corsair, leader of the Starjammers, a starfaring
band of adventurers. The two boys were hospitalized for injuries
they sustained during their landing, since their overburdened
parachute had been unable to slow their decent safely enough.
Scott and Alex both suffered traumatic amnesia regarding the
plane incident. Alex left the hospital after two weeks and
was placed in an orphanage in Omaha, Nebraska. Soon adopted,
Alex had little or no contact with Scott until years later.
Character's Special Abilities: He has superhuman ability
to absorb ambient cosmic energy into the cells of his body,
transform it in an unknown manner, and release it as waves
of energy that heat the air in their path enough to turn it
into plasma. (Plasma is a super-heated state of matter consisting
of charged subatomic particles.) These waves will emanate
from his body in all directions unless he purposefully tries
to channel them in a single directions, usually along the
length of his arms. Havok is himself immune to the intense
heat he creates. Whether he is immune to intense heat from
other sources is not yet known.

E-mail Address:
Aim SN: Goku7458
Skill: 20
Character's History: Anthony Stark, son of industrialist Howard Stark, demonstrated his mechanical aptitude and inventive genius at a very early age, enrolling in college electrical engineering program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the age of 15. When he was 21, he inherited his father's business, Stark Industries, and within a few years turned it into a multimillion-dollar industry complex whose chief contracts were for weaponry and munitions for the U.S. government.
Character's Special Abilities: Without his armor Tony Stark possesses the normal strength of a normal human man his age, height, and build who engages in moderate regular exercise. His armor magnifies Stark strength to superhuman levels, enabling him to lift (press) roughly 85 times.

Character Name: Cain Marko
Character Alias: Juggernaut
E-Mail Address: cainmarko21@hotmail.com
Power Control: 15%
AIM SN: CainMarko21
Character's History: Cain Marko is the son of Dr. Kurt Marko, an atomic researcher. Cain's parents separated and Cain was eventually sent to a boarding school. Kurt Marko's colleague, Dr. Brian Xavier, another atomic researcher, died in an accident, and Kurt Marko eventually married Xavier's widow Sharon for her great wealth. On marrying Sharon, Kurt Marko moved into her large Westchester County mansion, where he lived with her and her young son Charles. Cain, who had become a cruel and spiteful boy, came to live at the mansion as well.
Cain immediately began bullying his new stepbrother Charles. But Cain was often secretly beaten by his abusive father. Charles' vast telepathic powers were beginning to develop, and on one occasion he found himself experiencing the anguished thoughts and emotions of Cain after Cain had been beaten by his father. The inexperienced young Charles could not control or end his contact with Cain's mind at this time. Somehow Cain sensed that Charles was reading his mind and had discovered his secret shame. Cain believed that Charles had invaded his thoughts deliberately, and from then on Cain regarded Charles as his enemy. Cain was abusive to his stepbrother at every opportunity.
Getting into a disagreement with his father over money, Cain accidentally upset some explosive chemicals and caused a fire to engulf his father's home laboratory. Though Kurt Marko managed to rescue both Cain and Charles from the fire, he himself died of smoke inhalation. Sharon Xavier Marko had died sometime before, tormented by the lovelessness of her marriage to Marko. Cain Marko continued to live in the Xavier mansion, growing increasingly resentful of his stepbrother's scholastic and athletic achievements as wall as of his telepathic powers, which Xavier mastered as he grew older.
What happened to Marko after he left home is unclear. However, it is known that he became a mercenary and was eventually imprisoned in a Third World jail when the revolutionary forces he was fighting for were defeated. In the jail he became friends with a fellow mercenary, Black Tom Cassidy, who used his mutant powers to help them escape.
Later, Marko and Xavier found themselves serving together in the same U.S. military unit in Asia. Marko deserted under fire and Xavier went after him to bring him back. Xavier followed Marko into a cave that housed the lost secret temple of Cyttorak, a powerful mystical entity. Marko impulsively grabbed a glowing ruby from the lap of an idol and read the inscription (which mystically appeared to his mind to be in English): "Whosoever touches this gem shall possess the power of the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak. Henceforth, you who read these words shall become forevermore a human juggernaut." As Xavier watched, the gem's mystical power transformed Marko into a larger, superhuman being. Just then enemy high explosive bombardment caused a cave-in, and Marko was buried under several thousand tons of rock. Xavier survived and returned to his unit.
Character's Special Abilitites: The Juggernaut possesses untold power, mystical in nature, which enhances his strength to an as yet unknown degree and makes him a seemingly irresistible, unstoppable being. Once he begins to walk in a certain direction, no obstacle or force on Earth has been observed to be able to stop him. Apparently, only he can stop himself. Some obstacles (many tons of rock, for example) or forces (such as plasma-discharge cannons) may slow his pace considerably, but nothing has yet stopped him permanently from advancing.
Besides giving him vast superhuman strength, the mystical energy of Cyttorak gives the Juggernaut an extraordinary degree of resistance to all forms of injury. The Juggernaut can shield himself even further from injury by mentally surrounding himself with a force field. Enveloped by his force field, the Juggernaut has survived the fiery explosion of a truck transporting a huge quantity of oil without any injury whatsoever.
The Juggernaut can survive indefinitely without food, water, or oxygen. He is sustained by his mystical energies alone.

Character Name: Kurt Wagner
Character Alias: Nightcrawler
E-mail Address: falcon_roadrunner44@hotmail.com
Aim SN: PianoPerson4443
Power Control: 15%
Character's History: Kurt Wagner was born with certain unusual physical characteristics, but his power of self-teleportation did not emerge until puberty. Margali Szardos, a sorceress and gypsy queen, found Wagner an hour after his birth, in a small roadside shelter in the Bavarian Alps. She found his father, Eric Wagner, dead of a heart attack on the road outside. Margali is said to have found Wagner's mother lying next to the baby and dying, but this assertion has been called into question, and not even Kurt Wagner knows the truth. Margali took the baby to the small Bavarian circus where she worked as a fortuneteller as a "cover" for her activities as a sorceress. Wagner was never legally adopted by anyone, but was raised by all the members of the circus, who had no prejudices against "freaks." Margali acted as Wagner's unofficial foster mother.
Wagner grew up happily in the circus, and his two closest friends were Margali's natural children Stefan and Jimaine. Long before his teleportation power emerged, Wagner had tremendous natural agility, and by his adolescence he had become the circus's star acrobat and aerial artist. Circus audiences assumed that he was a normal-looking human being wearing a demon-like costume.
Character's Special Abilities: Nightcrawler is a mutant with the ability to teleport himself, the clothes he is wearing, and, within limits, a certain amount of additional mass which is in contact with him. He teleports by displacing himself into another dimension (the nature of which is as yet unknown), travelling through it, and then returning to his own dimension at a certain distance from his point of departure. He consciously determines his point of return. The entire process occurs so quickly that Nightcrawler is unaware of being in another dimension at all. Nightcrawler guides himself through the other dimension by an unconscious, natural direction-finding sense. Although Nightcrawler controls his teleportational ability with his conscious mind, his power to teleport is not psionic. Rather it is the result of an unknown biochemical/biophysical reaction which he triggers mentally.

Character Name: John Allerdyce
Character Alias: Pyro
E-mail Address: thefirestartereborn@hotmail.com
Aim SN: Pyro Reborn
Power Control: 15%
Character's History: John Allerdyce was born and
raised in Australia. His powers emerged at puberty, but
since he could not think of a way to use them for profit,
for years he did not use them except in emergencies. For
a time, Allerdyce drifted from job to job around the South
Seas. Eventually, he became a journalist for an Australian
wire service and covered Viet Nam and Indonesia. What he
saw and experienced in his travels became the basis for
novels he began writing. (He also wrote torrid Gothic romances.)
Allerdyce's novels were despised by serious novelists and
the critics, but they found wide readership throughout the
English-speaking world. Under circumstances that have yet
to be revealed, Allerdyce met the mutant called Mystique,
who learned of his mutant powers. As a result, Allerdyce
joined her new version of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants
under the name of Pyro.
Character's Special Abilities: Pyro is invulnerable
to any fire that he has placed under his mental control
and has the psionic ability to cause any fire to grow in
size and intensity and to take any form he wishes, even
that of a living creature. (Such fire creatures, however,
have no intelligence or life.) He can psionically manipulate
the flame to do whatever he desires. Pyro's fiery creations
have greater solidity than normal flame; hence a giant "bird"
he created from fire could grasp and carry a solid object
with its claws. The degree of Pyro's concentration necessary
to manipulate a flame being is directly proportional to
the being's size, power, and flame.

Character Name: James Howlett, goes by Logan
Character Alias: Wolverine
E-mail Address: Crio19@msn.com
Aim SN: Ligerzerojager19
Power Control: 15%
Character's History:Wolverine's history is unclear to him and to the rest.
Character's Special Abilities: Wolverine is a mutant with a number of enhancements to his physiology. Wolverine possesses heightened senses, making him capable of seeing things at a maximum distance greater than that of a normal human. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, and he is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if that person or object is hidden. Logan can use these enhanced senses to track anyone, with an impressive degree of success.
He possesses retractable bone claws that are housed in his forearms, they are part of his skeleton system. At will Wolverine can release these claws through his skin between the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but bleeding is quickly halted by his healing factor. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than that of normal human bone structure. This allows Wolverine to be able to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials. (Note: While Wolverine possessed his adamantium skeleton, his claws were able to cut through almost any material without any fear of damage to the claws.)
Lastly, Wolverine possesses an accelerated healing factor based on his physiology. While most normal humans heal injuries over a long period of time, Wolverine's healing factor speeds up that natural process. Wolverine's natural healing has been advanced to the point where he can heal extensive injuries (such as broken limbs) in a matter of hours to days. This factor gives him a higher resistance to poisons and toxins, and he can recover from almost any injury. The more extensive the injury, the longer the healing time will be.
Wolverine is not immortal, however. If the injuries are extensive enough, especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of physical form (such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid), Logan can die.
Wolverine, again due to his healing factor, has an enhanced resistance to disease, as well as an extended life span. Despite Wolverine's chronological age, he is still as healthy and physically fit as a man in his prime.
