Cyclops's Bio.

Cyclops's has the power to fire optic blasts from his eyes. He has to wear a ruby quartz visor, to control his blasts. His brother is Alex Summers (Havok).

Cyclops's real name is Scott Summers. He had to abandon his parents with his brother on a parachute when they were being captured by alien beings. His father, Christopher Summers, and his mother were captured and transported into the galaxy. And his mother was slain by the Aliens.

Cyclops and his brother landed in Alaska, and became orphans there. Mr. Milbury, who was Mr. Sinister in disuise, owned the orphange where they were at. They found their grandparents, Philip and Deborah Summers. Sinister was keeping an eye on Cyclops because of his genetic trait.

As Cyclops grew into his late teens, he was recruited by Professor Charles Xavier to be one of his first X-Men, whom included his future wife Jean Grey (Phoenix), Henry McCoy (Beast ), Warren Worthington III (Angel), and Bobby Drake (Iceman).

As the years went by, Cyclops was the only one left of the original X-Men when a new team formed around him.

During the new teams adventures, Jean Grey returned to them as the Phoenix. She had to kill herself to save herself from letting the Phoenix inside her from destroying galaxies. But it was the Phoenix that died because Jean Grey was in a capsule undersea.

Later on, Cyclops left the X-Men. Mr. Sinister set up a clone he made of Jean Grey way back. Mr. Sinister set her up to meet Cyclops' family and him from a flight a little after her powers manifested at the same time Jean Grey sacrificed herself. So he knew nature would take its course with them, and it did. She met up with Cyclops and had they had a child named Nathan, who later on became Cable.

Madelyne drops from the scene for a while. And then Jean Grey ressurects herself from the dead. She came up from a capsule undersea.

Soon, they team up with the other original X-Men in a team called X-Factor.

Later on, Madeylene Pryor shows up again in the pages of Uncanny X-Men. Eventually Mr. Sinister has his Mauraders kidnapp Cyclops's baby, and Madeylene wants her rightfull offspring back. Thus, she turns into the Goblin Queen and she kills herself during Inferno. In the process, Cyclops gets his baby back.

Later on, Cyclops's baby is captured and infected with techno-organic virus on the moon. Cyclops, his team, and the Inhumans defeat Apocalypse's Dark Riders, and break his baby free. A mysterious woman named Askani shows up. Cyclops defeats Apocalypse with a huge optic blast. The woman tells Cyclops that it was her mission to take his baby with her in another future timeline where his child is needed, and that his child is dying from the techno-virus. Cyclops agrees, and Asakani takes the child and vanishes.

Soon, X-Factor changes into new team, and the old X-Factor become X-Men again.

Cyclops is the leader of his X-Men squad, and they team up with all of the mutant teams in X-Cutioners Song against a crazed mutant named Stryfe, who is Cable's twin from the alternate future. Although Stryfe was defeated and killed by the mutants, he unleashes the Legacy Virus, which is a disease that went on to kill numerous mutants around the world.

It's revealed that Cable is Cyclops's son, Nathan around this time, or soon after.

Later, Cyclops marries Jean Grey.

Way later on, Cyclops and the X-Men fight Apocalypse again in the 'Twelve' storyline. Cyclops sacrifices himself by merging with Apocalypse as his new host while the X-Men destroy him.

Cyclops gets ressurected later on, and rejoins the X-Men.

Later on, the X-Men become teachers at the institute. During this, Cyclops has an affair with Emma Frost, White Queen, and Jean Grey finds out eventually.

Magneto invades the school disguised as a mutant, Xorn, who Cyclops let in. Magneto reveals himself and destroys New York. Magneto kills Jean Grey with an electromagnetic pulse that gives her a planetary stroke. And Wolverine beheads Magneto.

After this Cyclops bonds with Emma Frost as lovers.

Later on, Jean Grey re-emerges from the Phoenix seeking her out in the "Phoenix End Song" storyline, and the Shiar' hunt her down. She destroys thier ship, and goes on to find herself out there.

I used various X-Men related comic books from my personal collection, and the Ultimate X-Men book by DK for reference.
