Kari has been on my mind on an off/on basis for the last four years. I fight her now and then (surely there are more pressing-and less self indulgent-matters to be dealt with in one's work. Like galaxies. Or tectonic plates), but Kari fights back. She is a closet diva. Superhero sans cape, with a mission to uncover the secret lives of things. Kari in the Student Annnual Show Featured here are some panels from the Suburban Superhero Chronicle of Kari. It was during her blue polyester suit-clad stint as Gallery Guard at the Museum of Fine Art that Kari found her second calling in life: to be the guardian of mummies and Medieval Madonnas.
