This room has wonderful display of many of Diana's outfits, from her work clothes, day  suits to magnificent evening gowns, hats and shoes.

This is my favourite part of the exhibition. A film and music is playing in the background as you walk in, and its all so perfect . I spend lots of time in here every time I go to Althorp .

White Chiffon gown

I can only find one picture of Diana in this gown taken at a state event, this gown was made for Diana a few weeks before her wedding for a ball at balmoral.

More Gowns on Display 

The picture above shows three gown that are on display,  the versace gown in the middle .  The  pale blue long evening gown to the left was  never worn in public. The cream gown on the right was worn private and for a photo shoot with Testino in 1997

This gown with silver and gold beading is by Versace, the beading is by Swarowski.

The gown pictures below is so beautiful with thin straps and a beautiful fish tail bottom  Diana was never seen in public in this gown but I always imagine how she would have looked in it.

As you leave the dress room there is a  wall filled with condolence books for Diana there are hundreds of them all beautifully displayed . This is just a small selection of the thousands sent, a perfect tribute to Diana .
