C.R.C.'s Opt-In / Opt-Out Service
The Constitutional Review Committee has aligned itself with responsible organizations and businesses of all sizes. The problem of SPAM to the consumer is a real one and it takes a community like ours to pool our efforts and set the ground rules for others to follow. Most every email user recognizes that not all email is bad. Email from friends, family and coworkers has definitely become a necessity for most of us. Most of us have come to realize that we actually LIKE some advertisements...IF...it is about a product or service, activity or interest that we enjoy or if it is about something we are looking to purchase or get involved with. This is the reason that the Constitutional Review Committee has offered this free service to our readers. We belong to a Nationwide organization dedicated to promoting RESPONSIBLE advertising on the Internet. Every day, members like us, upload our e-mail lists to the centralized database. We give them information about people who have asked to be REMOVED from our list and, when we get our list back, we also get a list of people on our list that have asked to be removed from our category of list so we can delete them from OUR systems! This way, everyone is happy! Now remember! Not every organization and business is a member YET! However, as more and more people have complained about SPAM, legislation is forcing businesses to FOLLOW THE RULES! Being part of the LARGEST Opt-in/Opt-out database only insures that we have a centralized source which everyone will get involved with. Over the next 3 to 6 months you should start to see a drastic drop in the number of SPAM messages in your mailbox. But it only works, if YOU let businesses know what you LIKE and what you don't want to see in your email! If you want to be removed COMPLETELY from our list and the central list, just enter your name and email address below. HOWEVER, if you ARE interested in some of the areas below, BY ALL MEANS, place a check mark beside the ones you LIKE! This will insure that you only receive the email that you WANT or wouldn't mind getting. You can come back at ANY TIME and change your selections by entering them again. They will be modified and uploaded the same day. We hope that this service will be of REAL VALUE to you over the months to come!
