For: Saturday 5th May 2001
Open of show sees Vince Mac
entering Commish Regals office as he polishs the
'Queens cup'. Vince starts shouting about all the
changes that have been made and raving about how
Linda has gone too far this time changing 'his'
show. At which point Linda walks in and Vince
proceeds to suck up to her.
Pyros then flair and we are welcomed to WWF
INSURREXION.
Grand Master Sexay vs. Eddy Guerrero:
GM comes out followed by the Latino One. A beach
ball is then seen being hit about over the
rampway as Eddy walks down. GM takes early
advantage but the dances about too much and Eddy
comes from behind. Eddy wins after GM misses a
splash and Eddy rolls him up.
Hardcore, Crash and Molly Holly vs. Dean Malenko,
Perry Saturn and Terri.
Radicals come out and Terri gets on the mic
saying that she cannot possibly wrestle in the
skimpy clothes and high heels she is wearing.
Therefore it should be a 2vs2. However, Molly
attacks her and we have a brief cat fight with
Molly grabbong Terri by the hair and swinging her
around before Saturn comes in against Hardcore.
Nothing major happens until Crash come sin with a
top rope hurricanrana and then knocks down
malenko. Saturn is being pinned but Terri come
sin to break it up. As she backs away Molly again
comes in and struggles with Terri until Malenk o
pulls her away and Perry hits his fishermans
supkex for the win.
Segment: The corporation locker room is shown
with Austin, Triple H sitting there relaxing.
Debra walks in and they demand her to fetch
something for them. She refuses and starts off
about how they shhould be concentrating on their
match and not making her the errand girl.!
X-Factor vs. Edge and Christian vs. Dudleys vs
Hardys: 4 way tag team elimination
X-pac comes out wearing a ninja mask - what a
shame he had to take it off to reveal his face!
Dudleys not envolved in first part of match with
it being basically Hardyz vs E & C. Jeff is
tagged in and flips over ropes and hits the
poetry in motion. X-pac comes in and Hardyz
double team with Twist of Fate and then the
Swanton to eliminate X-Factor. Hardyz then
eliminated straight away as Christian hits the
unprettier. D-von is in against Chritian and
E&C dominate until Bubba is tagged in and
cleans house with flapjacks and full nelson.
Dudleys call for tables but interupted and then
the 3D attempt is stopped as Christian pulls Edge
out of ring and Rhyno runs down and Gores Bubba
Ray. Edge pins and E & C win it with the 1-2-3!
After match Spike runs down with 2 dudley dogs
including one running up Christian instead of the
turnbuckles! Then Rhyno gets the 3-D through a
table and Dudleys music hits and spike paces
around.
Big Show vs Test:
Video shown of Big Show beating up on Test from
Smackdown 2 weeks ago and Big Show gets on mic
calling Test's "carcass out here". Test
limps out with his ribs taped up but gets in the
ring with right hands. However, Big Show takes
control and hits the final cut to injure Test.
Refs run down with paramedics to help Test and
Big Show gets on mic saying NOBODY can beat him
one on one. He leaves up the ramp but then the
APA music hits and Bradshaw runs down beating on
Big Show. The bell rings and we have another
match on. Big Show with a sidewalk slam and then
he goes out to get a chair which he throws in the
ring and then sets off after test who is being
helped away from ringside. He rolls him in the
ring as Brashaw is knocked out and Big Show picks
up the chair. He swings it at Test but Test
explodes with th big boot into the chair and into
Big Shows face. Bradshaw comes back in and hits
the Clothesline from Hell!! 1-2-3 ! oh dear Big
Show is defeated and looks pissed!
Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle - 2 out of 3 falls!
Benoit enters to quite a big pop and then Angle
enters to some derogatory sign-language! Video
shown of their history + Benoit obtaining Angles
medals. Starts off slow with reversals and
various holds. Suplexes galore and then Benoit
goes uptop and hits his Diving Headbutt! He pins,
1-2-3! Benoit takes a 1-0 lead. Ref tells Benoit
to back off and Angle gets up with a cheap shot.
Benoit thrown out and into steps. Angle hits a
trademark suplex and gets up with a "woooooooo".
However, Benoit hits his 3 continous suplexes and
again goes up top but this time misses. However
he gets up and locks in the crippler crossface.
Angle is reaching for ropes but cannot get there!
He rolls out of it and escapes the hold. they
lock up again and Angle rolls up Benoit but it is
reversed and Benoit gets the 1-2-3!! BEnoit beats
Angle 2-0. Angle looks upset and kicks the ropes.
Benoit gets on the mic at the top of the ramp and
pulls out Angles medals from his pants.
Womans Battle Royal: Jackie vs. Trish vs. Lita vs.
Ivory w/ Stephen Richards.
Richards gets on mike and says about how The Sun
newspaper prints pictures of women baring all and
how it is a disgrace children should see this.
Ivory talks about fighting the good fight blah
blah and then calls the woman hoes and trash to
which Trish, Lita and Jackie jump forward and
attack Ivory. they rip her top off then her
trousers and she flees away in her flowery
panties. Stephen is left in the ring and Trish
says she 'knows it is HARD to keep up all this
work but why does he show her what a real man he
is'. He then breathes heavily before she low
blows him and the woman proceed to rio his
trousers off before Trish and Jackie hold him
down as Lita hits the moonsault. Stephen also
runs away.So much for a Battle Royal!
William Regal vs. Chris Jericho - for the 'Queens
Cup'
Regal comes out to boos which Paul Heyman claims
to be the crowd chanting 'Regal Regal' hmmm i
think not! During this match a laser pen was
shining on Regal and Y2J. The prize for this is
the 'Queens Cup' which looks exactly like the
stanley Cup but about half the size [and it is
made of tin]. Jericho starts off with chops and
Regals chest turns red. Regal hits some suplexes
and a facebuster and controls most of the match
until Y2J fights back. He get s the bulldog and
goes for the Lionsault but Regal get his knees up.
Regal goes for a dropkick but Jericho catches his
legs and locks in the Walls of Jericho. Regal
taps out and its allover. Jericho is presented
with the 'Mini Stanley Cup' but Regal attacks
from behind and smashes the Cup over Jerichos
head. The top of it falls off the Regal continues
to hit Y2J with it until the tin cup is dented
too much!
Main Event - Stone Cold and Austin vs Undertaker
This is a match which the Undertaker apparently
requested. The Game enters first followed buy
Austin who rips up a sign [cheap heat!].
Undertaker enters on his bike but stops short of
the ring. He grabs a chair as 'an equaliser' and
rolls in the ring as the two heels dive out. they
try to enter but run off when taker sees them
until Austin distratcs Taker so HHH can sneak
round the back. Double team on Taker in the
corner, with them 'stomoing a mud-hole' in him.
However he fights back and Taker does the Old
School walk on ropes. He then takes Triple H
outside and removes the monitors from the
announce table. But Taker is run into the
ringpost and back into the ring. Austin tagged in
and the Lou Thesz press followed by shaky elbow
drop. Then the drop off 2nd rope before Taker
knocks him down. HHH comes off top rope onto
Takers boot and then Taker takes Autin outside.
Runs him into barrier and then HHH comes flying
from nowhere but Taker grabs him and Chokeslams
him thru the announce table. he goes in the ring
and works on Austin and then Chokeslams him too.
But he doesn't pin for ages and taker is bleeding
from the ear [don't no how]. He pins Austin 1-2-...broken
by Triple H. Taker fights them both off and
chokeslams Austin and then Triple H and then also
Vince who runs down. Undertaker pins Triple H for
the 1-2-.....................3 ! UNDERTAKER now
becomes #1 contender for title so meets Austin at
Judgement Day. Taker takes a chair and then hits
first Autin then Triple H and then Vince and
leaves on his bike with the three lying in the
ring.
