Backstage:
Michael Cole was shown with Shane, and he asked him if it was wise to poke fun at The Big Show. Stephanie showed up and told Shane that Vince might call off the match if he apologizes. Stephanie told Shane that Vince told The Big Show to be vicious tonight. Shane knew, and Stephanie said that Shane's problem is that he lives in a fantasy world. At least Vince lives in the real world. Shane said that this story is real, and tonight's story will have a happy ending.

Backstage:
Stone Cold and Debra were shown arriving and Kevin Kelly caught up with him and asked Stone Cold about losing the WWF Title. Stone Cold said that he's not losing a damn thing. His name is Stone Cold Steve Austin and he isn't going to lose a damn thing. As long as Triple H does his part, everything will be dandy!

Backstage:
The Duchess of Queensbury was shown and The Coach showed up, wanting to know the rules of tonight's match. She asked The Coach who he is, and then she said that the rules are very simple. In order to win...Regal cut her off and yelled at The Coach. Regal got rid of The Coach and then he apologized to the Duchess for that.

William Regal vs. Chris Jericho

William Regal's music started playing in the arena and he made his way to the ring with a huge smile on his face, waving to his friends, the fans! Regal got on the mic and said hello to all of his friends in Chicago! The fans booed him, because they are nothing but heels! Regal said he would now like to introduce... "Asshole, asshole!" - Fans. Regal then introduced the Duchess of Queensbury and she got booed as she made her way out. I swear, this music sounds like the Sims! The Duchess sat in a royal seat at ringside and then Chris Jericho's music hit and he made his way out! Chris Jericho made his WWF debut in this very arena in the Summer of 1999! Chris Jericho got on the mic and he said to let him get this straight. THAT is the Duchess of Queensbury?! That's strange, because he thought that the Duchess of Queensbury looked a little more like this: Regal's face on the Duchess' body! Chris said to be quite honest, he doesn't know which one of them looks more like a man. Even though Chicago is the Windy City, from the looks of it, it seems that Queensbury is the ugly city! The match started off with the fans chanting for Y2J and then the two locked up in the middle of the ring. Chris backed Regal into the corner and then Regal reversed it and referee Tim White broke it up. Regal got a side head lock on Jericho and then Jericho got one on regal. Jericho knocked Regal down with a shoulder block and then a shot to the mid section. Regal rolled out of a wrist lock and then he got one on Jericho of his own.

Jericho rolled out of it and nipped up back to his feet. Jericho chopped Regal across the chest and then Regal whipped Jericho off the ropes and tossed him to the apron. Jericho went to the top rope and came off with an elbow to the head! Jericho knocked Regal down with a drop kick and Regal bailed out of the ring. Chris went right after him and the fans chanted for Y2J! Jericho slammed Regal into the security wall and then he went to work on him as some fans cheered Jericho on. Jericho rolled Regal back into the ring and went for the missile drop kick but he didn't catch it and he landed on his arm. Regal got Jericho in a suplex and then a pin for a two count. Another pin, another two count. The fans chanted "Regal sucks!" and then Regal gave Jericho a double knee to the head. Regal stomped Jericho as he was on the mat and then he waved to me! Regal gave Jericho a European uppercut and then another one. A reverse chin lock by William Regal to wear Chris Jericho down. Jericho got out of it and whipped Regal into the corner, only to get kicked in the face. Regal went to the second rope and waved to the fans and then Jericho gave him a drop kick. Jericho then got a top rope hurricanrana on Regal to take him down! The referee started the count as both men were down and they both got up at the count of 6.

Jericho chopped Regal across the chest and then Regal whipped Jericho off the ropes and Jericho came back with a flying forearm. Jericho went for a clothesline but regal ducked it and then Jericho hit Regal with an elbow and then a bulldog down to the mat. Jericho then hit the lionsault on William Regal and then the bell rang before the referee could even count. Howard Finkel talked to the Duchess of Queensbury and according to the rules, the time limit for round one have expired! Regal then rolled up Chris Jericho in a pin for a two count as we are in round two now! Jericho went off the ropes and gave Regal a clothesline and then he came off the ropes with a missile drop kick but Regal caught him by the feet and catapulted him into the ropes. Regal gave Jericho a suplex and then he went for the Regal Stretch on Jericho and he got it on after Jericho attempted to battle out of it. Jericho inched towards the bottom rope and then the referee called for the break. Regal gave Jericho a hard European uppercut and then a whip into the corner. Jericho rolled Regal up and then he went for the Walls of Jericho on Regal. Jericho got it on and Regal tapped out, giving Chris Jericho the win! The Fink spoke to the Duchess, and Howard Finkel said that according to the rules, you cannot win by submission!

Jericho didn't seem to like that one bit and he got out of the ring, ready to go after the Duchess. The security cut him off and Regal came up from behind, only to get hit in the head. Jericho slammed Regal's head into the announcer's table and then Regal nailed Jericho with the scepter and the referee called for a disqualification, but that was cut off as well. There is no disqualification! Regal brought Jericho back into the ring and pinned him for a two count. Regal gave Jericho a European uppercut and then another one. Regal whipped Jericho and Jericho ducked a clothesline and then got knocked down with a reverse elbow. Regal got a double arm suplex on Jericho and then a pin for a two count and another pin for a two count. Jericho hit an Enziguri on Regal to knock him down and then the referee went back to the count. Regal gave Jericho a left hand and then Jericho hit Regal with a right hand Regal with a left and another right from Jericho. Jericho chopped Regal and then he backed him into the corner and kicked away on him. The referee tried to get Jericho out of the corner and Jericho shoved the referee and then he whipped Regal into the other corner and then followed it up with a clothesline and then the Walls of Jericho, but he realized he couldn't win by submission so he gave him a low blow. Jericho knocked Regal into the Duchess' lap, face first and then Jericho went after the Duchess!

She got up and Jericho shoved down the security and then he rolled the Duchess into the ring! Jericho got the Walls of Jericho on the Duchess and then Regal got in the ring with three chair shots on Jericho and then a pin for a three count to get the win!

30 minute Ultimate Submission Match
Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit

Kurt Angle's music hit in the arena, loud and clear and some fans popped for him. Kurt got on the mic and said that ever since Michael Jordan quit in his prime, rather than play another minute in this town, he noticed that the city of Chicago is a little short on winners and a little long on fat, sweaty pigs. This whole damn arena and everyone, the list goes on and on. Chris Benoit may not be a pig, but he sure as heck is going to be squealing like one tonight. If these people could sit still long enough rather than make a run for nachos, they will know what he's talking about! It's true, it's damn true! Chris Benoit's music hit and the fans went nuts! The match started off with the two locking up and Chris backed Kurt into the corner and the referee was there to make the count. The fans chanted "Angle sucks!" and the two locked up once again with Kurt backing Chris Benoit into the corner this time around. The referee called for the break and then Kurt went to the leg and took Chris Benoit down. Chris wrapped his legs around the arm of Kurt Angle and Kurt got out of it. Kurt Angle took Chris Benoit down with a double leg take down and then he went for the ankle lock but Chris Benoit was able to fight it and get in the ropes. The referee broke it up and then Angle took Chris Benoit down by the leg and Chris wrapped his legs around Angle and then Angle got out of it and Chris got a hold of the leg and then he went for the Crossface but Kurt got in the ropes.

Kurt Angle got out of the ring and took a break. Kurt got back in the ring and Kurt took Chris Benoit down with the double leg take down and Chris rolled Kurt over and went for the Crossface, but Kurt got out of it. Kurt took Chris down once again, and Chris went for the Crossface once again but Kurt was able to get to the ropes. Kurt Angle got out of the ring and Chris went out with him and stalked him. Both men got back in the ring and Chris Benoit took Kurt Angle down with a waist lock and they both wound up on the outside of the ring where Kurt rammed Chris into the ring apron. Chris then got the Crossface on Kurt Angle on the outside of the ring and Kurt tapped out, but it only counts in the ring for this contest. Chris argued with the referee and then Kurt Angle got a steel chair and the referee yelled at him. Kurt Angle's shoulder looked to have been hurting him and he got back in the ring, looking in pain. Kurt gave Chris Benoit a cheap shot and then he got a leg lock on Chris Benoit and Chris Benoit was forced to tap out as Kurt Angle was wrenching on the knee.

Kurt went back to the leg of Chris Benoit and Chris battled out of it with right hands and chops to Kurt Angle. Kurt took Chris down with a chop block and then he continued to work on the leg. Kurt went for another chop block but Chris side stepped it and went for the Crossface, but he wasn't able to get it. Chris Benoit got a cross arm breaker on Kurt Angle and Angle tapped out!

Chris backed Kurt into the corner after a 30 second break and he chopped away on him and then whipped him into the ring post, shoulder first. Chris took Kurt Angle down with a wrist lock and back to the arm breaker and Kurt Angle was able to roll out of it into the ropes. Chris got a shoulder breaker on Kurt Angle, focusing on the shoulder of Kurt Angle. Chris whipped Kurt into the turnbuckle and then he chopped him as he came out of the corner. Whip into the corner once again and then Chris tried to pull Kurt off the ropes. The referee tried to break Chris Benoit off of Kurt, but Benoit shoved the referee down to the mat. Kurt Angle then nailed Chris Benoit in the head with the steal chair. Kurt then got the ankle lock submission on Chris Benoit and Chris tapped!

Kurt didn't want to let Chris Benoit get the 30 second break and he continued to try to go to work on him. Kurt then went back to work on Chris Benoit and he put the Crippler Crossface on him to get him to tap out!

Kurt choked Chris Benoit over the second rope and then he pulled Chris to the apron and gave him an elbow to the chest. The referee tried to get Kurt angle to get back in the ring, and he did just that. Kurt got in the ring and he gave Chris Benoit a back suplex and then he went back to the ankle, but Chris got in the ropes. Kurt stomped away on Chris Benoit as he was down. Chris Benoit got out of the ring and Kurt went after him, slamming him into the announcer's table. Kurt slammed his head into the announcer's table once again and then he rolled him back into the ring. Kurt gave Chris Benoit a hard right hand and then he whipped him off the ropes and Chris held onto the ropes and then he gave him Kurt a high back body drop to the outside of the ring! Chris Benoit went to the outside of the ring with him and whipped him into the steel ring post. Chris chopped Kurt across the chest and then he gave him some right hands and more chops. Kurt Angle whipped Chris Benoit into the steel steps and then Angle gave Chris the ankle lock on the outside of the ring and Chris Benoit tapped out, but once again, it doesn't count on the outside. Kurt Angle brought Chris Benoit back into the ring and he got an arm breaker on Chris Benoit and Chris was able to get up for a moment but Kurt forced Chris Benoit back down to the mat.

Chris got to the ropes and Kurt got up and stomped away on Chris Benoit. Kurt got an abdominal stretch on Chris Benoit and Chris Benoit wouldn't give it up. Chris countered it, but Kurt reversed and Benoit reversed that and got an arm breaker on Kurt Angle on the mat. Kurt got to the ropes and then Kurt got up with his arm in pain and he stomped away on Chris Benoit on the mat. Kurt gave Chris a hard right hand and then Chris Benoit got a sharpshooter on Kurt Angle and Kurt Angle was able to get to the ropes. Chris Benoit didn't want to let go, but he finally did. Chris Benoit gave Kurt a shot to the head and then Chris rolled Angle up and got him in a half crab, forcing Kurt Angle to tap out!

After the break, Kurt Angle rolled out of the ring and the fans booed him and then Chris Benoit went right after him. Kurt got in the ring and then he got right out of the ring once again. Chris stormed after him and gave him a shot to the back and then a chop across the chest. Chris whipped Kurt into the steel steps and then he rolled him back into the ring. Kurt rolled out of the ring and Chris continued to follow him. Kurt got back in the ring and Chris followed him, only to get stomped down by Kurt Angle. Kurt raked the face of Chris Benoit and then he gave him some right hands and tossed him to the outside of the ring. Chris tried to get back in the ring and Kurt stomped him right back out of the ring. Chris got in and got stomped down by Kurt Angle and then Chris started to fall out of the ring and Angle pulled him in. Kurt got Chris in a front face lock and a suplex. Kurt went for the ankle lock but Chris Benoit was able to get to the ropes. Kurt gave Chris a right hand and then a whip to the corner where Chris kicked Kurt in the face. Kurt got a drop toe hold on Chris Benoit and then an attempt at the ankle lock but Benoit got to the ropes. Kurt and Chris battled to the outside of the ring and Kurt gave Chris Benoit a suplex on the outside of the ring! Chris got up and chopped the hell out of Kurt and then Kurt raked the eyes of Chris Benoit.

Kurt whipped Chris into the security wall and then he got back in the ring as the referee checked on Chris Benoit as he was down on the outside of the ring. Chris got up and in the ring and Kurt gave him some right hands. Chris took Kurt down with a leg drag and then he went for the ankle lock on Kurt and he got it on as Angle got the ropes. Chris Benoit whipped Kurt off the ropes and went for a drop kick and Kurt held onto the ropes and Chris fell down to the mat. Kurt then went for a modified version of the STF and he got it on. It fell into a reverse chin lock and the referee raised the arm of Chris Benoit to see if he was still in it. Chris Benoit was still into it and then Kurt grape vined the leg while holding the reverse chin lock. Chris Benoit attempted to fight out of it and Kurt wouldn't unlock it. Chris Benoit was able to get back to his feet and he gave Kurt Angle a modified version of the stunner and then Kurt charged through Chris Benoit to knock him down. Kurt stomped away on Benoit as he was down on the mat and there is about 3 and a half minutes left in the match. Kurt Angle got a belly to belly suplex on Chris Benoit and then he posed and the fans booed him! Kurt hooked Chris Benoit in another over the head belly to belly suplex and then Chris whipped Kurt into the corner and he got a German on Kurt and he held onto it and gave him another and then Kurt went for the ankle lock and Chris Benoit countered it and got Kurt in the ankle lock and Kurt tapped out!

With around 2 minutes left in the match, it's tied! Chris gave Kurt a chop block and when Kurt got up, Chris hit him with another one. Kurt held onto the ropes and Chris kicked him. Chris gave Kurt a forearm and then a German suplex, holding onto it and Kurt got in the ropes and then Kurt gave Chris Benoit a low blow. Kurt went to the ankle lock submission and Chris Benoit got to the ropes. Kurt pulled him off the ropes and Chris went back to the ropes. With 20 seconds left, Kurt stomped Chris and then gave him a back suplex and then the ankle lock. Chris Benoit didn't tap out and then he tapped out after the bell rang. It looks like we have a draw. Kurt Angle claimed that Chris Benoit tapped and the referee spoke to the ring announcer. The 30 minute time limit has expired and with the submissions even, this match must continue until sudden death! Kurt got back in the ring and went to work on Chris Benoit, and this is sudden death over time. Kurt went back to work on the ankle and knee of Chris Benoit and then he hit a belly to belly suplex on Chris Benoit. Kurt got Chris in a submission on the mat, a version of the abdominal stretch down on the mat. Chris then reversed it into the Crippler Crossface and that forced Kurt Angle to tap out! Chris Benoit has done it! He has come from behind to defeat Kurt Angle in over time!
