BIOGRAPHY

Born in the right place at the right time, Sundance (Weldon Howard Dunston Jr.) grew up in Manhattan NY.. By the age of 19, his hard work and persistence paid off when he was seen by Sam Clayton, a member of the infamous Delaney and Bonnie. From then on, there was no stopping this intense and emotional guitar player who went on to play with other successful bands such as Fire and Ice, Mars (of California), American Reskue (his own band for 8 years) and the Baby Boomers (of Colorado). Sundance has shared stages with great bands like The Allman Brothers, The Left Bank, Rare Earth,Seals And Craft, Moss The Hoople, Tanya Tucker, The Mamas and Papas, KoKo Taylor, Kenny Neal, Raful NealJohnny Clyde Copeland, Tabby Thomas,Mandro, Malo, Doobie Bros., Styx, Tab Benioy, 38 Special, ZZ Top, Ten Years After, Jonny Winter, B.B. King, and many more!

Now Sundance is based out of Denver, Colorado, and travels with his own band, MIB comprised of Collin Mitchell (Bass and Vocals), Lewis Quinn (Drums and Vocals), Jason Permister (Keys and Backjground Vocals) and Rex Forte (Vocals and Harp). They perform a high ebergy show that features incredible musicianship, strong vocals, heavy grooves and a combination of exciting original material and Classic Rock, Latin, Funk, R&B and Blues.

In May of 1994, Sundance released his first CD that featured several of his own originals and three covers. MIB has currently recorded a second CD on
