The Gorean word for enemy is the same as the one for stranger. So watch Y/yourself or it may be a very short stay if Y.you are killed. Yet if Y/you are nice and try...it may be Y/your home real soon. Do not think that just cause You came to the room as a Master or Mistress You are safe. You can be made a slave or killed if not carefull. Please tell the room Y/you are new and Y/you will get some help. come back often and make it home...smile

If Y/you plan to be a Master or Mistress....start Your name with a Capitol letter.....slaves use a small letter. Before saying something about that not being done in the books....yes that is true,,but it is how W/we can tell slave from Free.

If You are a slave...you must beg to enter,,,it can be very short,,,,such as,,,a girl kneels and places her head to the ground,,,,arms out in front,,,may she enter?,,,,,and do not enter until you get permission.....if you do not get it..ask again,,,you may not have been seen

After a slave enters....that slave must greet every Free person in the room before greeting another slave. When done ask to serve, and go to the first Free that calls you. Unless you wear a personal kolar then you go to who owns you,,,,,but still ask to serve. A slave must never be lazy

When a Free person enters He/She may simply say Tal A/all and then speak to who speaks to You. You may also give permission to enter or leave to any slave asking.

When a slave needs to go...you must ask first...if you get no answer ask 2 more times.....number them....and if you hear nothing you may go...but put at least 2 minutes between each post to give a Free a chance to respond....this is also true if there are no Free in the room,....NEVER LEAVE WITHOUT ASKING 3 TIMES or getting permission first or you will be pubished for it.

Be sure and check the message board often as well.
