Comments – I purchased two 75g in petsmart at the thanksgiving right after my divorce for an early xmas gift to self.... originally went in for a 6ft 125g (72Lx18Wx22H) for $299 incld:tank,glass tops,one strip light but after waiting for the guy to finish catching fish for other customers i spent more time looking over the "big tanks" and noticed that a 75g (48Lx18Wx21H) was only $129 for the same tank,top,light pkg ... so i got TWO ... instead of 6ft of tank for $300 i got 8ft of tank (/2) for a total of $260 .... thats 25gallons and 2ft MORE for $40 LESS and it is split over 2 tanks so i can keep more species instead of limiting it to a single tank ..... the moral is don't be afraid to compairison shop and sometimes less is more and more is less so look around with open eyes and minds
And as for lighting, it came with glass tops and a standard perfecto strip light (2 end to end 24" 20w tubes = in effect 1x 40w 48"tube) i added two twin tube shop lights behind the stock strip to get 5x 40w tubes over the tank...or 200w over 75g = 2.67 watts per gallon
