My Final Fantasy 7 Page!

Final Fantasy 7 is the fourth American Final Fantasy. The original Final Fantasy came out for Nintendo. The original was so popular in Japan and America, they released a second for the NES. The third version for the NES did not come to America. The fourth did, but rather as Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. This was the beginning of the Square using the SNES. Then, the fifth came out in Japan, but not America. This was also on the SNES. The sixth was released in America, but as Final Fantasy 3. This was also created for the SNES.

As time progressed, 32-bit systems were made. So Square broke free of Nintendo and released Final Fantasy 7 (for both countries) for the PSX. The last Final Fantasy was created in October of 1994. They began the Final Fantasy Project as soon as FF3 was released. Square put a LOT of time and money into this project. Now, three years later, we get to see their work.

There are three basic members of your party: Aerius (also known as Aerith), Cloud, and Barrett. Just as in the last FF, there are "Fight" and "Magic" commands. The "Fight" command is just an attack (Cloud's HUGE Sword, Aerius' bow or Barrett's Maching Gun). There is also magic (in just wouldn't be Final Fantasy without Magic), with "Fire", "Ice," and "Bolt" commands.

Each character also has there own special. The only special I am now aware of is Aerius' "Summon", where she summons a dragon to attack the other party. "Tsunami", the water dragon, casts a huge wave on your enemies. The designers have used the 3-D effects to create and image as if you were being attacked, but the camera angle suddenly changes as the other party gets washed away.
