Amy is 24 years old and the wife of John Lockyear. She is originally from Batesville, Arkansas and is currently from Denver, Colorado. Amy likes to read, cook, play on the computer, and go backpacking. Amy aspires to becoming a Marine. She created The U.S. Military Spouses' Club in November of last year, and maintains it with her husband.

Wendy Dopp - Army Wife

Wendy has been an Army spouse for 4 years. Before that, she was a Navy brat and says that "being the child of a military person is easier than being the spouse of one." *smile* She and her husband have a Dalmation-mixed dog named Minnesota, "Minnie" for short and a cat named Necco. Wendy likes to do needlecrafts, read, fish (Wendy swears that she not only baits her own hook, but drives the boat and fillets the catch when she's finished), and spend quiet times with her husband. She volunteers through AFTB and in the family support group. Since Wendy and her husband just bought the computer, she is now enjoying being on line and talking to other military spouses, as well.

Fairuz is a proud fiance - engaged to her favorite Marine, Robert, who is stationed at Camp Pendleton-California. She and Robert will marry next year. Fairuz is a nurse, and is currently making a post-graduate study in midwifery. She is living, for the time-being, in Delaware. Fairuz tells us that she loves to make friends and encourages anyone at all to just shoot her an email if they'd like to talk.

Sherry Hollingsworth - Army Wife
Sherry is 20 years old and married to Jared Hollingsworth. Jared and Sherry will soon be stationed in Fort Benning, GA. They have two lovely children, "a li'l 2 year-old boy" named Gage, and "a teenie weenie 10 month-old little girl" named Dakota. Sherry claims that Dakota is our future first woman President. Sherry is from California and plans to live there until she joins Jared in Fort Benning. She enjoys playing on her computer, chit chatting, writing and reading. She LOVES cooking, so go and visit her for a goodie or two anytime!! She also loves playing with her kids, scrapbooking, and making all kinds of crafts for family and friends. Shelly is a fanatic about writing letters (and emails),epecially to her husband, even when he isnt away. She's "a li'l silly'" but only cuz she's so good natured and loves making and being a friend!!!
Cheryl Blauvelt - Air Force Wife
Cheryl is the 20 year-old wife of an Air Force SSgt. She is originally from Winslow, AZ and is currently stationed at Davis-Mothan AFB - also in Arizona. Her father was a Navy SEAL/UDT member for several years, and her uncle is an Army Brig. General in the Reserves. Her cousin is a Marine Sgt., and her great uncle is the late Army General George S. Patton. So...Cheryl is definitely familiar with military life. Cheryl works for AAFES and does modeling and acting whenever she can find the work. She and her husband have five years left in the military before retirement. After that who knows?
Molly - Soon-to-be Air Force Fiance
Molly is 18 years old, and her fiance will be leaving for USAF basic training on June 3rd of this year through the delayed entry program. They will be married after he has returned in December. Both Molly and her fiance are from Oklahoma. Molly likes to play on the computer (especially email), watch movies, and read 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' books. She is an only child and has red hair - as do both of her parents! She is currently a senior in high school, and is also enrolled in a local junior college. She plans on finishing school as soon as possible, but isn't quite sure what her major will be, yet. She is thinking of becoming a chiropractor, but says that she changes her mind often!
Jamie McManamon - Army wife
Jamie is 22 years old, and her husband is in the Army. They have a 6 month old son named Donald James (DJ) and are currently stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Jamie is originally from Brownstown Township, Michigan. She is a SAHM and runs a FCC home. She also attends night school, studying Criminal Justice. She is a Nationally Registered EMT-Basic. Right now her main goals in life are "taking care of her DH,raising my Ds, and getting out of debt." In her spare time (what's that?), she enjoys building her family's website and scrapbooking. She says that you can call her a "Jack of all trades, but a Master of none."
Patricia - Army Wife
Patricia is 34 years old, and her husband of 15 years is in the US Army. They have 3 children - two sons and one daughter. Patricia is originally from Nebraska, but hasn't been there in 15 years! Her family is currently stationed in South Carolina. She is an elementary school teacher, currently teaching first grade at a public school. She worked for the Department of the Army for about 8 years. She has been all over the US and to Germany twice. Patricia enjoys reading, writing(she calls them "boring teacher activities!" *smile*), and crafts. She loves to shop and correspond with friends. She claims to always have a telephone permanently attached to her left ear. She "likes to walk and talk!" She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Michele Risner - Air Force Wife
Michele is 33 years old and has been married to her husband for 13 years. They have two children; a 10 year-old daughter named Brittany, and a 6 year-old son named Travis. Michele is originally from San Antonio, Texas. Her family is currently stationed at Holloman AFB in New Mexico. Michele was Active duty Air Force from 1984-1997, and is now employed with the base library at Holloman. She loves to read, x-stitch, and work on her web page!
Rebecca (Becci) - Army Wife
Becci is 24 years old, and has been an Army wife for about 6 months. She is originally from Nashville, TN and still resides there as a stay-at-home mother. Her husband is in Korea. They have a 6 month old daughter named Paige. Becci will be going to school in March to study nursing.
Stacey - Marine Wife
Stacey is 21 and newly married and - as of yet - unfamiliar with military life. She and her husband are stationed at Camp LeJeune, NC. Stacey is a college student but still finds time to work.
Monica Huckaby - Army Wife
Monica is 28 years old. She and her husband of 8 years are stationed at Fort Benning, GA. Though they don't have any children at present, they have 2 doggies to raise. Monica is originally from Tennessee. Her husband has been in the Army for 9 years and they have been stationed together in Germany, Fort Stewart, Georgia and recently did an uncommand sponsored tour to Korea. Monica is working on her website, which will be geared towards helping other spouses possibly doing an uncommand sponsored tour to Korea.
Melinda - Marine Fiance
Melinda is from Virginia and still lives there while her fiance, Ryan, is stationed with the Marines at Camp Pendleton, CA. She is a junior at George Mason University, majoring in Government. She and Ryan have been dating for a little over a year, and this past November he asked her to marry him. They won't get married for another year or 2, so Melinda wants to finish as much school as she can before then. She also works for the Marine Corps, at MCB Quantico.
Shelley Schrader - Marine Wife
Shelley is 24 years old. She grew up as a Navy Brat, so she says that she's from "all over." Shelley joined the Marine Corps the day after she graduated from High School. She and her husband got married at the end of her enlistment and have been married for what Shelley calls, "2 1/2 wonderful years." They are currently stationed in Quantico, VA, and Shelley works as a legal secretary in DC. She and her husband plan on moving to Missouri or Illinois when his term of service is up with the Marine Corps.
Staci Lavigne - Navy Wife
Staci is 18 years old and her husband, Bobby is stationed on the USS Carl Vinson in the Persian Gulf until March. Then they will go to Israel, Hong Kong, Australia, and Pearl Harbor. Staci says, "He is going to see parts of the world I could only dream of seeing." Staci and Bobby have a 4 month-old son called Tyler. Because they started a family early, Bobby joined the Navy for the security and the benefits. You see, their son was born Sept.10th of '98, even though he was not due until Oct. 31st. He was almost 8 weeks early and was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for almost a month. He weighed 5 lbs. 1 oz. when he was born and Staci says, "I am proud to say that he weighs 16 lbs. now and he is a perfectly normal and healthy baby boy." They had some trouble picking out his name, so he has two middle names - his full name is Dimetri Tyler Jordan. Staci will graduate from high school this year and plans to attend college shortly afterwards (Anyone know any good colleges in Washington? :) Staci adds, "I am so proud of my husband and my son, they are the two best things that have ever happened to me.

Lorie is 23 years old. She and her husband have a five month-old son named Nicholas. She is originally from New York, but she and her husband are now stationed in North Carolina.
