Tiffany VandenHul fell in love with music at a very young age with ballet and dance lessons. She started classical piano lessons when she was 10 years old, and harp lessons a few years later.
Tiffany has a Bachelor of Arts in Music as well as a Masters of Arts in Teaching from The Colorado College. During her undergraduate studies, Tiffany had the opportunity to receive training under harpist Patricia Croke, a former student of Marcel Grandjany, world famous harpist and founder of the American Harp Society. Since 1992, Tiffany has been performing professionally on pedal and folk harp. She is available to play for any type of engagement that requires a special, elegant touch. Engagements she has played include weddings, receptions, funerals, holiday parties, and open house events. In addition, Tiffany has arranged and recorded harp & piano parts for other artists through her work as a studio musician at Startsong Studio in Colorado Springs. She loves composing and has even integrated harp into rock music.
In addition to being a professional performing artist, Tiffany also teaches elementary vocal/general music in a Colorado Springs school district, and visits the Pikes Peak Hospice as a guest musician with her folk harp on ocassion. She feels that harp music is a relaxing therapy for the patients and can help ease their suffering."I have so much to be thankful for. How lucky I am to play such a beautiful instrument as the harp, and to have the opportunity to share my knowledge about this instrument with others."
