Jacqui
Jacqui opened her locker and a note fell out. She opened it and read: Meet me behind the musc building after 5th period-we gotta talk. Love Sean. She figured she'd go since she had nothing better to do except go to sixth period science, and she really didn't feel like putting up with another boring class. She headed off in the direction of the music building. Sure enough Sean was there. "Hey." He greeted her. "What do ya want?" She asked him. "Me??? You were the one who wrote me the note!" He exclaimed angrily. "Excuse me??!!" Jacqui stared at him disbelievingly. "Whaddya mean? You were the one who said we needed to talk!" Sean said. Someone had probably set them up. Jacqui thought. "Sean, ya still got the note?" Jacqui asked. "Sure." He took a piece of paper out of his pocket and handed it to Jacqui. She scanned it. It was exactly the same as the note she'd gotten except it was signed 'Love Jacqui.' "Sorry to dissapoint ya Sean, but I still don't wanna get back together, and I didn't write the note." She said and walked off.
Sean
God that was weird. Sean thought. But if Jacqui hadn't written the note, who had? Sean actually wanted to get back together but he had too much pride to admit it to Jacqui. She'd acted like such a baby, running outta Kellie's that day he'd been there with Andrea. She was his cousin, what did Jacqui want him to do? Leave her at home while he went out and had a good time? And what did she think he'd do with her, they weren't Chad and Britney Spears!
(*if ya didn't get what I meant by that or if you're a britney fan don't mind it*)
Lacey
Lacey hated walking home after school. Usually she hitched a ride home with one of her friends(the ones who already had their liscense) but today for some reason she hadn't found any of her friends after school. Only about 25 more minutes to walk and she'd be home. "Lace, ya need a ride?" She turned and saw Melanie with her new white convertable. Mel was so lucky. Lacey's parents would never buy her a car, they believed she had to work to get what she wanted because they didn't want her to be spoiled. What a load of crap. Oh well, at least she had a ride home she thought as she climbed in the back seat of Melanie's car. Katie was sitting in the passenger seat. "what's up?" she asked. "Katie was just telling me bout her new guy." Melanie said. "What new guy?" Lacey asked curiously. "The one I met at Adrienne's wedding." Katie replied. "His name's J. He also gave me his number." She continued. "Hey Lace, whatever happened to that blind date ya went on a while ago?" Mel asked. "Ya mean Jason? I think he wasn't interested." She said. "Why didn't he call you?" Mel asked. "Yeah, he called but I had loadsa schoolwork that day he wanted to go out and he never called since." Lacey said. "But it doesn't matter I'm pretty much over hime, even though I do have these moments where I remember him." Lacey said. She truely believed she'd get over hime even if she sometimes thought about him, it was only one date. Right now she was just happy for Katie that she'd found someone.
Jacqui
"So Scott what's up with you and Mel?" Jacqui asked. "We're cool." Scott replied. He was driving her and Amber home. "What bout you and Sean?" he asked. Jacqui sighed. "Still the same." "You're not mad at him for spendin some time with Andrea are ya?" Scott asked. "Nope, I don't even know who Andrea is." Jacqui said. "Course ya know who she is, don't ya remember making a scene running outta Kellie's when you saw em." "Whaddya expect? I saw him with another girl and I freaked." Jacqui said. "Jac, she's his cousin, do ya really think he's that sick that he'd fool round with her?" Scott asked. "Whatcha talking bout?" Jacqui asked. "Didn't he tell ya? At the beginning I also thought she was his date, but then we talked later and he said he'd tell you when he had a chance." Scott said simply. "Maybe that's what he wanted to talk about." Jacqui said quietly. "What did you say Jacqui?" Amber asked. "Well today I found a note in my locker supposedly from Sean, and when I went to meet him he said he didn't write it and I believed him." Jacqui explained. "Maybe he did write the note after all and he was too embarrassed to admit to me he wanted to make up. He got to much of that what do you call it? Mal pride I think, yeah that's it." Jacqui added. "So ya gonna forgive him?" Scott asked. "Nope." Jacqui said."There's still other stuff." she added."I think you should stay single and free for a while.” Amber suggested. "Nah, I think you should go for a new guy, loadsa guys want you. How bout going out with me?” Scott joked. "Awww, that’s sweet of ya hon, I’m sure Mel would love to hear about it. But seriously I do need someone new." Jacqui said.
