Chapter 1

Steph
The first day at SYAS
Steph was a bit nervous as she walked torward her first class at the Sylvia Young Acting School. It was her first day back from summer vacation and her first day at SYAS. She and her family had moved to England 2 weeks ago. She hadn't had a chance to meet people yet and she hoped she'd make friends fast. She didn't want to be known as a nerd or something. "I guess this is it." She thought looking at the door to the class. Steph opened the door and looked around for a place to sit. She found an empty desk between a blond girl and the hottest guy ever with spikey black hair. She went and sat down. "Hey are you new here?" The girl asked. "Yeah, just call me Steph everyone does." "I'm Lacey, and this is Scott." She pointed to the hot guy at the desk next to Steph. "So are you from America?" Lacey asked. "No actually I'm from Israel but I lived in America for 10 years so I have an american accent." "cool." Lacey said. Just then the teacher entered the class. She introduced herself as Mrs. Whitman and started to call roll. "Steffani Amber Amyr?" "here" she said. "Richard Breen?" "It's Abs." Said a guy with black hair and amazing eyebrows. "wow I wish I had his eyebrows." Steph whispered to Lacey. "I know do you think he plucks them?" Lacey laughed. "Quiet over there at the end." The teacher yelled. "Brittany Carter?" "present." Said a redhead across the room. "Sean Conlon?" "yo!" said a guy that was sitting in front of Lacey. "Christina Frantz?" "here." Answered a black haired girl. "Lacey Hewitt?" "over here.Lacey said. "Melyssa Hamilton?" "yeah said a blond girl. "Richard Neville?" "it's ritchie." Steph looked at the blond guy who said it. He was ok looking, not as gorgeous as the guy sitting next to her. "Scott Robinson?" "yeah." Said the gorgeous guy. Mrs. Whitman called a few more names and closed her attendance book. She started to babble on and on about all the stuff they'd learn this year.

Scott Robinson
The new girl
Scott couldn't take his eyes off the new girl. He knew he shouldn't be looking at her. He loved Melanie and was happy to be with her, but he couldn't help it if every now and then he looked at other girls. Lacey passed him a note. It said: Are you looking at Steph??? Remember Mel? Your girlfriend. Don't lead Steph on. -Lace. Scott tore a piece of notebook paper and wrote: I'm not lookin at the new gurl. I luv Mel.-Scott. He passed it to Lacey. Then the bell rang and everyone rushed out of the class.

Steph
Saved by the bell
At last the lesson was over and the bell rang. "C'mon Steph. I'll introduce you to some of my friends." Steph followed Lacey out of the classroom to a row of lockers. "There's Katie, let's go talk to her." Lacey pointed to a blond girl standing near her locker. "Katie, this is Steph, she's new here." "Hi." Katie said. "Hi." Steph replied. "There's the rest of the group." Katie pointed to 3 girls chatting by their lockers. "Hey Mel,Jacqui,Amber this is Steph, she's new here." Lacey greeted her friends. "Where are you from?" One of the brown haired girls asked. She thought it was Amber but wasn't sure. "Israel." Steph answered. Just then the hot guy from her previous class walked over to where they were standing and gave one of the girls a big kiss on the lips. "Steph, this is my boyfriend Scott." She was pretty sure the girl was Melanie. "Hey aren't you the new girl in my english class?" Scott looked at her. "Yeah." Steph had noticed he was looking at her in class but she had absoloutly no idea he had a girlfriend. Scott and Melanie started their kissing session again. The bell rang and Mel and Scott stopped kissing and went to their classes. Steph was glad that she didn't have to see the happy couple snogging anymore. She knew it was mean but she was jealous of them. Maybe it was because her boyfriend had dumped her when he found out she was moving to England and she still hadn't gotten over him. Whatever it was she was going to have to get over it and forget about Scott if she wanted to have any friends, she couldn't go around stealing boyfriends.
