According to reports, the parents charge that the producers fleeced the youngsters and encouraged less-than-wholesome behavior."

-Greg's Official Website, www.gregraposo.com was updated yesterday. The Ask Greg section has been updated with new questions and answers and there have been some new Links added. Be sure to check them out!
APRIL 20, 2002~
The Ask Greg section on Greg's Official Website, www.gregraposo.com has been updated with new questions and answers. Be sure to check them out! -Some radio stations, newspapers and even ticketmaster have been announcing dates that Dream Street will be performing. We have chosen not to post any of these dates, because they are all unconfirmed, especially with the legal proceedings taking place right now. We don't want people getting their hopes up and angry over events that DS may not even be at (as happened with the Aaron tour.) We are keeping a list of all the events though and as they get confirmed (if they do) we will post them here! -Head over to www.katrillion.comwhere they have yet another poll including Dream Street! It's a music feature entitled "VOTE: Who's the Hottest Opening Act?." Dream Street are choices for both question number 2 and question number 4. Right now they're behind in the standings, so be sure to vote!
APRIL 19, 2002~
-On Page 6 of the April 27, 2002 edition of Billboard Magazine (which won't be available to the general public until Monday, April 22, 2002, but is sent out within the music industry). Dream Street and the lawsuit are discussed in the section called "In the News." The article follows (typed and then as it appears in the magazine, click the image to see it larger): The New York Supreme Court ruled Monday (15) to reconvene a hearing April 24 regarding Edel boy band Dream Street and the group's desire to revoke its development deal with Dream Street Entertainment (DSE). Dream Street's five members who are all under the age of 18 filed legal proceedings against DSE and its principals, Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow, citing "a wide range of conduct and activities that plainly threaten and impair the minors' well-being." The suit claims DSE officers are involved in the "manufacture and wholesale distribution of hardcore pornographic materials" and transmitted "hard-core pornography directly to certain of the minors over the Internet. -Dream Street's songwriters Berny and Kevin have been sending a letter around for people to post on their sites with what they have to say about the whole ordeal (it is basically a defense of Dream Street Entertainment, and the exact opposite of what the other side has said to date). Since April 11th, after this story broke, I have decided not to post any comments or opinions of people involved therefore I will not be posting this letter. You can come to DODS if you are looking for printed documents, that haven't been put out by either side (like the information from Billboard.)
APRIL 14, 2002~
-Details in the legal proceedings between the members of Dream Street and Dream Street Entertainment have been released in a daily bulletin sent out by Billboard, only within the industry. It has not been confirmed by either side (the members of the group or the producers) but the article states that officers of Dream Street Entertainment were involved in manufacturing and production of pornographic materials, unknown to the group members and their families. Two pornographic publications used the same address as the one used for Dream Street Entertainment. DODS (http://www.downondreamstreet.com/) and Dream Street World (http://www.dreamstreetworld.com/) , The Official Street Team and Official Fan Club Newsletter wants to remind you that this has not been confirmed by either side. The boys appreciate your support. Please do not ask any questions concerning this matter. Thank You.
(additional note: this pornographic material is NOT of Dream Street)
-Dream Street is mentioned in another article on www.katrillion.com If you head over to the article "The 10 Hottest Music Stars Under 18" and click on page 2, you can read a paragraph about the group and why they've been put on the list! (Thanks Jennifer!)
-If you head over to http://pbskids.org/zoom/reviews/dreamstreet.shtml , you can read thoughts posted by fans on Dream Street, their music, their dance moves and more! Then, fans give DS a rating, and right now they have the best possible! The majority of comments come from younger fans, but stop by and drop your own! (Thanks Jared!)
APRIL 11, 2002~
-YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! Maryann Raposo will be sending out an Official Dream Street Update shortly, but there are many rumors floating around (because of an announcement Z100 made today saying that Dream Street was breaking up). Maryann sent me the update early so that I could get the word out to everyone:
DREAM STREET ANNOUNCEMENT
------------------------------------------------We know that a lot of rumors and stories are being circulated about the group and it's future so we wanted to respond to let you know what's going on and to set the record straight. On Tuesday, April 9th we filed legal proceedings against Dream Street Entertainment, Inc., the company that's run by Louie Baldonieri and Brian Lukow with the help of Matt Mitchell. In the legal papers, we asked the court to terminate the agreement between the group and Dream Street Entertainment because of conduct of Louie, Brian and Matt that we truly believe is threatening the boys' well-being. While the details are set forth in the court papers, because of the legal proceedings we think that it's best not to comment any further and to let the court decide how to handle things. There is hearing before the court on Monday, April 15th and we will let you know what happens. Be assured that Dream Street is not breaking up. In fact, the group has never felt more strongly about it's future and about staying together.
I know you all have many many questions regarding this. Please try your hardest not to e-mail me with questions. I promise to keep you all up to date will all official information as I receive it. Greg, Frankie, Matt, Jesse & Chris appreciate all your support.
One more request. If you feel the need to e-mail me please write in the subject "I am On Your Update List ."
Keep Us In Your Prayers,
Maryann Raposo
9:47 PM
-Also, to clarify, unlike DREAM ON WITH DREAM STREET reported, Jesse will not be leaving Dream Street at this time. He 100% for sure has not "officially resigned" from the group as the aforementioned site has said and I just wanted to clear that up. Have we ever supplied you with incorrect news? I think not. Stick with DODS if you're looking for ACCURATE and up to the minute news, rather than rumors.
9:54 PM
Now just in from www.jessemccarntey.comJesse has NOT quit the band. Jesse intends to and wants to do both Dream Street and the television series. Details just have to be worked out.
10:11 PM Down on Dream Street would now like to clear up some rumors that another website has decided to create not only about DS but now about our site as well! We never said that the Chris/Play song was a rumor. Also, just because dates are on Ticketmaster it does not mean that they are confirmed. Half of the Aaron Carter dates that Dream Street WERE NOT at were advertised on Ticketmaster as having DS opening. Therefore, please keep this in mind when referring to tour dates that have not been confirmed by either the Official DS website or Maryann's Official Dream Street Updates, they are not 100% guaranteed to happen. Anyhow, stay strong everyone, DS is still Greg, Frankie, Chris, Matt AND Jesse.
