Alex is annoyed with himself for saying 'you know' -- again

Oh see he's done it again...

ALEX: I like to eat when I’m hungry, not when everyone else is, you know... Ohhhh, I wish I didn’t say that anymore! I’m always saying it

ALEX: Yeah but someone said that before. Cos I always say 'yeah' afterwards, but I think it’s because I’m always with people that don’t really speak English very well, and I hate it when you say something to someone, and they just look at you (blank expression).
And there’s other times I’ve always said "but I said this earlier" and they went "oh I didn’t understand you" and I say "well why didn’t you say anything". So I’m always like, I tell something and then I say 'you know', so I’m giving them a question after a question, you know. Oh see, I done it again!

Buuuhh!

ALEX: Eh... I just thought I'd come in today because I've got a lot to say. I mean I've said it to most people, but I haven't said it in the Diary Room, and I feel like I should say it in the Diary Room.

I'm just not happy with the way things are going around here, you know. One of the cases we're talking about is the issue about peeing in the shower. I know people are, you know, and I think it's absolutely disgusting. And basically, I speak to Jonny about it and I said to him "Look I think you're in the minority here, everyone thinks it's disgusting", and he said (Geordie accent) "Well after wha' I've been talkin' to people about it, you know, they seem to think you don't light'n oop, you know. I think it's all in your mind, you've got to light'n oop, you know. Like, it's a normal thing to do, you know."

And also, other things today, you know, Lee told me something, I didn’t see this, Kate is obviously going from boy to boy to get brownie points. I really don’t like that either. Personally I’d love to be able to tell Spencer what Lee said to me, but I’m not going to. But at the end of the day I think Spencer is just interested in getting his end away, I’m not sure.

But another thing, with this task tonight as well, I just hope that after everything that's happened today, we can just forget about all the arguments we've had, you know... And I keep on saying 'you know', that's another thing people keep picking me up on, I keep on saying 'you know' - and that's starting to anger me as well. I'm starting to piss myself off, that's what I can't believe now, cos I'm nagging all the time. But I don't... but I'm not... I’m... Buuuhh!!
