This is a Gibson Gothic V from 1999. His name is Jekyll. I actually named him along with his brother at the same time. I had a Gothic Explorer that I had bought at the same time. Named him Hyde...lol

Jekyl and Hyde are both great guitars, but I lost Hyde on a loadout from the Showcase Theatre in Corona, Ca. Someone stole him while I wasn't looking. At some point I will buy another.

Jekyl is an amazing sounding guitar and solely for the bridge pickup do I use him. This guitar kicks the crap out of most of my guitars for that heavy distorted sound...tons of low end, and it's tight. I don't use it live anymore, due to the missing Hyde guitar, I fear the same will happen to Jekyl. Totally stock, this guitar sounded awesome right out of the box. Tuned to standard E and strung 10-52...
