The top ten movies that I saw in 2003, part one
Since I haven't found a reliable logbook or whatever to write on, I'll put my thoughts here. 2003 was a very active year for me movie-wise, I saw a lot of great films (and even more crappy films) so here I tabulate the 10 best films I've seen for the first time this year, whether it be on video, film or otherwise. Let's start with number 10: 10. Punch-Drunk Love (2002) I applaud this film for its sheer... weirdness. Adam Sandler plays the part of a socially challenged novelty plunger salesman to perfection; Director Paul Anderson truly made this role for him. Emotions flow in this movie like a broken dam; Sandler's character is unable to express them in a controlled way, so we see him breaking stuff and crying ncontrollably. Insane, yes, but such is the nature of Love. Tuesday, 18 November 2003

so, another day in the somesuch. Life is boring, but hey, who's complaining? Someday I'll get to write more on this thing once I get the hang of it... in the meantime, I'll be going on my way like a Bullet Train. Right? Right you are! Saturday, 18 October 2003
Hmm...
I've changed the layout of the blog. It looks kind of better. Well then... Time to watch some movies. Probably John Woo's Once a Thief. I'll get back to you when I'm done.
Crap.
crap, crap, crap. I feel crappy today. But heck, I always do. The design for this blog probably looks crappy too, but I prefer simple things. I've never been a fan of complexity. So with this I welcome you to this weblog. May whatever deity you believe in have mercy on your soul. /(x_x)\ Newer | Latest | Older |
