And warm greetings. I hope this e-letter finds you in good spirits.

Before I tell you a little about this website called Greco's e-Cafe, I have some important information I want to share with you.

What would $20.00 bring to a young child, to a needy family, or to a person living in the streets? Well, to begin with, $20.00 may not seem like a lot to you, but $20.00 can buy a wonderful new gift to a child, $20.00 can buy a needy family a delicious and nutritional dinner, $20.00 can bring a homeless person some food and a place to sleep for the night. Especially during the coming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

My entire life was and continues to help and bring comfort to the kids, the needy and the homeless in my little area of the world. As you start to prepare your shop for the upcoming holidays, please be aware that there are individuals and families that need your help, even in your community. I want to begin my campaign and my new website by offering you a few specials.

These special offers benefit you in many ways. 

The two most important come to mind. One, the warm feeling deep down inside your soul that you are doing something to benefit the children, the poor and the homeless especially during the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday and two, to help you market your business in ways you may not have ever thought about that will bring recognition, goodwill, visibility, and FREE publicity for your business.

Although I believe we all should help the poor 365 days a year, between now and December 31, 2003, I will donate in your name up to 25% of your purchase to a charity of your choice in your community . A charity that will benefit the needy, the kids and the homeless during the holidays.

My goal is to raise $20,000.00 from my newsletter subscription, $35,000.00 from my e-mail consultation and $20,000 from my business plan consultation and review services. That's a total of $75,000.00 going to charities around the United States - in your community - that will help children, the needy and the homeless. And with your help, this can be accomplished.

The donations are broken down as follows: for every newsletter subscription of $137.00, I will donate $20.00; for every e-mail consultation, I will donate $700.00; and for every business plan consultation, I will donate $1,000.00; and for every business plan review, $400.00.  Visit the appropriate pages to find out more about the services and the donations.

Remember, each subscription or consultation service is tax deductible as a business expense.

As an added special incentive, if you get nine other businesses in your community to subscribe to my newsletter, bringing the donation total to $200.00, I will add another $200.00. That's a grand total of $400.00 to your community.

Plus, I will prepare a press release about your group's donation to be sent to your local paper. All you need to do is provide not only your business information and the charity of your choice, but also include the contact information to one of your local newspapers in which to send the press release.

To begin with, grab yourself a regular 8½ x 11inch sheet of paper. Any 8½ x 11 sheet of paper will do. Now cut a hole in it large enough for you to literally physically jump through. Sound impossible?

In this highly competitive and economically depressed business environment, trying to come up with fresh new ideas to increase profits, reduce costs, expand and diversify your business and to increase the performance of your staff may sound impossible, too, but…

You can't take cookies out of an empty cookie jar...

or ideas out of an empty head. Trying to come up with new ideas does not come out of a vacuum. It comes out of a reservoir of experiences, observations, and other ideas. Ideas, even the best and most original, are largely adaptations of, and additions to, existing ideas. I have a rich source of such ideas that I have accumulated over the past forty two years, managing cafés and for the past seventeen years as a café/restaurant consultant, that are able to increase your profits and turn your ideas of success and happiness into reality.
