ABOUT
Here is my story and I am sticking
to it.

High school (1961-63) were some
days. I was playin’ music in a couple of
bands, cruzin’ Bob’s Big Boy in my woodie full of friends with “The Beach
Boys” blasting on the radio, and washing dishes in a Mexican restaurant on
weekends to earn some gas money. Surfing Malibu after school and before
work was my schedule back then.
Flash(and I do mean flash) forward 40 years. I’m 56 now and have four kids
and a great wife. Our home is full of rattan furniture, tiki mugs are on
all the shelves and I continue to feed myself a steady diet of Beach Boys
and
Island music. Camping once a month along the coast with family and friends,
surfing every weekend with two of my four and giging in a rock & roll/surf
band are all part of today’s schedule.
A couple years ago we(wife, kids and I) decided to get back into the
woodies. We joined a couple clubs and started to attend a few woodie car shows. We finally bought a 1950
ford wagon. The front license needed a frame and I wanted to have something
unique. In my garage were lots of bamboo sticks
from previous projects so I made up a couple frames which went over quite
well with everyone. In fact I had to make a couple more sets for some
friends at that time. Now sort of retired I’ve decided to reproduce them.
We think the frames look cool on just about any vehicle or year. Aloha
Frames project a state of mind and give good vibes! We hope you enjoy them!
