*The Next Morning*
I feel a fever coming over me
But needing you like this is scaring me
But I've lost myself you see
Chae got up out of bed, the effects of her hangover obvious.
"Maybe those four shots of tequila wasn't such a good idea," she mumbled to herself as she scurried to the kitchen for breakfast.
She glanced over at the answering machine as she poured herself a cup of coffee: 3 messages. Although she didn't wanna hear them, curiousity kept her from deleting them. She pushed play instead...
"You have three messages.. Message 1: Chae, it's me Jinhwan, we really need to talk.. please call me. Bye."
Chae fought back her tears as she painfully pressed the delete button.
"Message has been deleted.. Next Message: Hey it's Shina. What's up with you and Jinhwan? He's been a wreck ever since he got home and he's drunk as hell now... He keeps mentioning you and well, let's just say it's not a pretty sight. Danny and I are staying over just to make sure he doesn't do anything destructive. Hopefully we can chat before noon tomorrow. But you need to talk to Jinhwan... and soon..He needs you.... cyaz."

Chae's tears finally spilled over, some falling into her cooling cup of coffee. She sat at the kitchen table, silently thinking about everything that's happened.
How could one kiss, this one kiss she wanted so badly, cause all of these problems? Chae sighed sadly as she smoothed her dishelveled hair away. As she disinterestedly stirred her coffee, Shina's words echoed throughout her thoughts.
...you need to talk to Jinhwan...and soon...he needs you....
"He needs me," she repeated softly, her eyes starting to water again. She shakingly walked to the answering machine and deleted Shina's message.
"Message has been deleted. Next message: Chae... it's me again. Please call me. We really need to talk. I'm sorry for everything that happened last night but Chae, I don't wanna lose you... I don't wanna lose what we had... and what we could have had..bye..."
It's three in the morning and I can't even sleep

Chae slumped against the wall, her tears now falling freely. All of these thoughts swarmed through her mind and she was more confused than ever.
"God, why me...." she mumbled as she ran a hand through her hair. She continued to lay against the wall, unsure of what to do. Shina's voice stood out the most against all of the other semi-coherent thoughts she had.
...you need to talk to Jinhwan...and soon...he needs you....
"Jinhwan ah," she whispered. "I need you too..." She brushed away her tears as she stood up. As she walked up the stairs, she finally decided what she was going to do.

Shina and Danny looked on sadly at Jinhwan who was finally in a somewhat peaceful sleep.
"I wonder what's going on between him and Chae," Shina said quietly to Danny who was holding her protectively.
"It's gotta be something big if Jinhwan hyung's this stressed out," Danny replied sadly. Shina nodded in agreement.
"I just hope everything works out," she said. She then stood up, reaching for her cell phone.
"What are you fixing to do?" Danny asked.
"I'm about to give Chae a wakeup call," she answered, going outside.
She went outside and dialed Chae's number.
"Yeo bo seh yo?"
"Chae, it's Shina."
"Hi unnie what's up?"
"You really need to get over here! Jinhwan's really out of it and you need to talk to him." Chae sighed, exasperated.
"Well what am I supposed to say? I can't even look him in the eye without crying anymore!" she yelled. Chae was answered with silence...
"Well you know.. I wish I could tell you something useful, but for this one I can't. Just get over here, and get over here now."
"Ok, ok.. I'll be there in about thirty minutes," Chae said finally.
"Good.. see you then." *Click*
Shina hung up the phone and walked back inside where Danny was sitting patiently on the couch.
"Wake up Jinhwan and tell him to change, Chae will be here in half an hour," Shina requested. Danny nodded and lightly shoved Jinhwan to wake up. Jinhwan moaned tiredly and looked up at Danny.
"What do you want?" Jinhwan asked groggily, yawning.
"Get changed hyung, you gotta be dressed in twenty minutes," Danny stated as Shina went to the kitchen.
"For what?"
"You'll be having company."

Chae knocked on the door nervously. She had no idea what she was gonna say, or what was gonna happen, so she made a silent prayer and hoped everything would work for the best.
Danny opened the door, giving a sigh of relief when he saw Chae.
"Boy am I glad you're here," he whispered as he ushered her in. Shina then came out of the kitchen, putting the apron away when she saw Chae. Before Shina had the chance to say anything, Jinhwan came down the stairs.
"Ok Danny, who is this company I should be expecting?" he asked as he walked down each step. He stopped when he saw Chae standing beside Danny, looking down at the ground.
"I took it upon myself to cook some breakfast so there's food if you wanna eat," Shina said trying to break the uncomfortable silence.
"Thanks Shina," Jinhwan replied quietly. "I really apprecieate it." Shina nodded giving a glance to Chae and then to Danny.
"Well we'll be leaving now, so we'll talk lata," Shina said linking arms with Danny. Danny nodded briskly as he picked his keys up off the coffee table.
"Yeah, see you around hyung," he called. "Bye Chae." Chae nodded her head in acknowledgment. As Danny closed the door, that uncomfortable silence found it's way back inside.

"Would you like something to eat?" Jinhwan asked polietely. Chae shook her head feeling more nervous. Jinhwan gulped, summoning his courage. He then took her cold hand, and Chae looked up at him sadly before turning away again.
"Please Chae," he begged, "look at me." Chae hesitantly looked up at him, her eyes watering again.
"Chae, I'm so sorry about last night," he apologized. "I don't know what came over me, but after you left, it was like my heart broke a second time. When I kissed you, it was like the best feeling I've ever had and when you left I felt so empty. I still feel so empty and lonely Chae. Please don't leave again. If you do, I don't think I'll be able to stand it..." This time Jinhwan looked away as he let go of her hand.
Chae's tears spilled over again for the infinite time and she didn't bother to stop them this time. Jinhwan turned to Chae sadly, wiping her tears away gently.
"Don't cry Chae.. I'm sorry I made you cry," he whispered. This only made Chae sob more as she hugged him tightly.
"Oppa..." she sobbed, "I hate you.. I hate you for making me love you so much... I can't leave you because.... because I need you..."
Jinhwan sighed as he hugged her tightly. Chae pulled away slightly from Jinhwan, her sobs quieting as she wiped her eyes. Jinhwan leaned down, kissing Chae gently. This time it was a passionate kiss that both of them wanted.
When they pulled apart, they both smiled at each other, finally happy. Jinhwan laid a soft butterfly kiss on Chae's lips before pulling her close again.
"Sarang hae Chae.." he whispered. "Sarang hae..."
