Welcome to the homepage of the BLOODSTREAK© Live Action Role Playing Game, currently located in San Diego. I started this game 8 years ago at the San Diego Comicon International, with about 25 players and in 1999 the game had 565 players. This year's game was a very small one because I did not advertise or even really let anyone know that the game was going to go on. However, one of the good things that came out of this year's Comicon game is that I was able to pick my permanent, dedicated staff and begin plans to become the largest live action role playing game ever held in the U.S. (That's about 1,500 people.) For those of you unfamiliar with Live Action Role playing, also called "Mind's Eye Theatre", the creators explained it this way: "Very few games seek to redefine the conventions of role playing as does the Mind's Eye Theatre line. There are no tables or dice involved in Mind's Eye Theatre games. Instead, you become a part of the story. You assume the role of your character as soon as you step through the door, enacting every action, movement and gesture. For the purposes of the game, you are your character." In the past, we have played once a year at Comicon, but now by popular demand, we are going to start playing twice a year. We’ll still be playing at Comicon, and again, approximately 6 months later, at Disneyland. This year we estimate we will be playing in January or February, during the off season, so that it won’t be too crowded.
