Yay, it's Misha from Pita Ten again! She's so adorable! This girl did a wonderful job on this costume; everything is perfect! She is the best Misha I have ever seen!

One Sailor Mercury and one Sailor Jupiter at your service. I'm so glad Sailor Moon is still so popular; it makes me feel so happy, warm and fuzzy inside! ^-^

Another Cammy from Street Fighter. It's a testament to the popularity of the franchise that its fandom has lasted so long. Unfortunately I never got into fighting games. I end up just reading about their storylines on the 'Net to find out about them...

That's an impressive mechanical device attached to her back. I'm told she is a character from a Korean production. The part of her costume that really made me take notice are the shoes. How does anyone walk in those? Looks painful!

Here are some cosplayers from Final Fantasy X-22... err... I mean FFX-2 and Final Fantasy 9. *sigh* Did I ever mention that life is too short to play Final Fantasy?

Here is the lovely Estell from Magna Carta. Wonderful job; that parasol is really pretty!

A very well done Freyja from Chobits. I have to hand it to the Chi and Freyja cosplayers; they usually go the extra mile of lace to get those dresses right!

Lisa's MashiMaro that she bought in the dealer's room. I don't know what she sees in this rotund (and sleepy) character. Then again, there's that huge hamster plush I got her of Hamster-Popo...

I remarked that Sinclair is a bit like Kyo from Fruits Basket, and Jesse whole-heartedly agreed! After hearing that, Sinclair now wants to watch the entire series to find out if it's true. (Apparently, he's oblivious to his obvious connection with the cat)!

AX goodies! Check out all the neat sketches by the Japanese artists... and me! Yep, the illustration of Van (bottom left) was actually drawn by yours truly, since I needed something nice for Seki Tomokazu (who really thought that it was done by the Escaflowne character designer, tee-hee!) to autograph. Thanks to Jesse for saving the day!

It has become a tradition for our group to lay out all the stuff we got autographed at AX on a bed or table somewhere and take photos of it. This year was no exception and when all was said and done, it was an impressive sight as always!

You can't tell in this photo, but the various DVD covers I got signed got soaking wet with water on the way to AX. My water bottle leaked due to the pressure change with altitude on the airplane and soaked the folder containing the DVD covers. None were permanently damaged but I spent my layover in Phoenix laying out all the covers and fanning them to dry!

Jesse had such a nice collection of autographed cels from the convention, but he's too modest about it. However, we were eventually able to convince him to relent. Why shouldn't he show them off?

My friend Justin, who runs Otaku Omaha, is a huge fan of Ai Yori Aoshi. He especially likes Aoi. I wanted to take this back to Omaha as a souvenir for him but it was just not gonna happen. So he'll have to settle for this photo.

An old friend of mine, Henry Liao, from my college days. I remember looking at Henry's sketchbook and watching his stories and artwork progress. I usually run into him every AX and I stop by Artists' Alley to say hello. He was kind enough to do a sketch for me and he did this amazing piece in mere minutes! Check out more of his work at www.otakkism.com!

I've heard of this series (SaiKano or She, The Ultimate Weapon) and it is one on many of my I'll-see-it-eventually list. I've also heard not to keep any sharp implements around while watching it or to balance it out with Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar!

A very cute DiGi Charat, which always seems to be a popular cosplay at every anime convention I go to. Jesse and Sinclair were all over her, taking photos as they said ~for a friend~ (yeah, right!)

Yippee! It's Iron Mouse from Sailor Stars! It's so rare to see one of the minor but memorable villains from Sailor Moon in cosplay, so this was a definitely a treat! I loved the cute little mouse ears!

This is Lillith from Dark Stalkers, another fighting game that I never got around to playing. All I can say is that with games like these, it makes me wonder if guys actually play them for the fighting or just for the eye candy.

Jesse and I doing our part to tell our friend Jon not to flake out on us and go to AX next year. Before flying out to Asia, he gave all of us a big box of authentic Japanese school uniforms (including a school girl outfit for Lisa, complete with tube socks!) to use for cosplay, but sizes unfortunately didn't work out.

Sinclair and Jesse were just a little bit embarrassed about confessing their true feelings for Jon, hee-hee! (Sorry, Jon, but they're both mine)!

Brian was a really cool guy who helped us a lot throughout the weekend, from registration to even getting us lunch while we were waiting in line for Seki Tomokazu! I hope you can make it back to AX soon! Many hugs and kisses for you!

I think this is Kaname Chidori from Full Metal Panic! Great uniform but I think that fan is a little too small. It'll probably break very easily across Sousuke's head!

Before heading to the airport, I couldn't help but snap a photo of this vintage car parked in front of the house of one of Jesse's neighbors! I know a lot of folks back in Missouri who would get a kick out of this!
