We took this picture outside on the balcony of our hotel room; in case you can't tell from the picture, it's dark outside. (Boy, do I look sleepy...)

Here are some FF mages (I believe) from the first original Final Fantasy. '-_- * sigh * Like if there aren't enough Final Fantasy cosplayers as it is, people actually have to go back to the very first one! Still these ladies did a good job; and just because I don't like Final Fantasy doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't.

This costume was one of the most elaborate I have ever seen; he was cosplaying as Smokescreen from Transformers. You may not be able to tell but he had neon lights along his lower arms and legs, authentic looking racing sponsor decals on the body, and supposedly he could actually transform in it (although I didn't see it myself). I saw him putting together his costume in the elevator room and it looked pretty darn complicated (about as much as the Gundam cosplayer on Page 2)!

I think she is dressed as Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi but I am not sure. Regardless that is a beautiful costume. I hope no one stepped on her train!

Here is an excellent Yui from Fushigi Yuugi; I don't think I have even seen a better Yui. Now this is what cosplay is supposed to be like! Gai: It looks though like she may have some Italian blood in her, you think? What? You wanna piece of me?

I have seen many DiGi Charat cosplaying Rabi-En-Roses in my time attending conventions; it always seems to be a popular costume. Some people tend do the costume half-way; this lady
did a good job on her costume but what she still needs is some pink hair.
Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo trying to look innocent in street clothes instead of one of her more elaborate outfits. (Yeah right!) Isn't that great hair though? That's gotta be one of the most difficult parts of her costume.
Kaname and Sousuke from Full Metal Panic, one of my favorite series! Looks like Sousuke over-reacted and did something that involved high explosives again. How can I tell? Kaname has her halisen handy...!
Here's a Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. This is another popular costume, even among the men (as "Man-Faye" taught us that...*shiver*)!
A cosplay group from .hack//SIGN; another fine example of cosplaying.
I'm told she is from Gundam Seed. I just thought it was a really well done costume that turned out to be a pretty picture.

Another photo of Lisa in her red dress. Isn't she lovely? I'm so glad we found those dresses (thanks again Jesse!). Check out her hair ornaments too, aren't they cute? I believe this photo was taken while waiting in line for Tomokazu Seki's panel. We were lucky we had the place we did. We were the last ones still in the air conditioned hallway (instead of waiting outside in the hot sun).

I looked ALL WEEKEND for some Haibane Renmei cosplayers; just as I began to give up hope, I saw a wonderfully done Reki! Not only did I find a Haibane Renme cosplayer but I found someone cosplaying my favorite character from the show! Yay!

A nice Rurouni Kenshin cosplay group... Sinclair, Jesse, and I are going to have to do a cosplay group thing one of these days... Jesse: "We are? But I don't really cosplay..." Sinclair: "Remember that $300 you owe me from--?" Jesse: "WOO-HOO! LET'S COSPLAY IN 2005!"
A very well done Peorth costume. She seems very willing to show off her costume to the delight of adoring fanboys, too. I think you can tell I had to step out of the way pretty quickly to avoid getting crushed by the fanboy horde!
The ubiquitous Chi from Chobits! There were A LOT of them running around. Lisa was right, everywhere you turned there was another one. But like she said before, you get to see just about every outfit Chi wears!

I'm told by a very reliable source that these girls are cosplaying as Under17, who could not make it to AX due to illness. Well, even if they're not cospaying as Under17 at the very least these girls were in the booth promoting the band! ^-^

I spotted this Misato of Evangelion fame taking a rest in the Dealers room. Misato is another of my favorite anime characters; I'm glad to see people are still cosplaying her!

I met this guy earlier when in the parking garage. I wasn't in costume but I ran into him again in the Dealers' Room when I was in costume. In this photo he was asking me about the patch on my uniform. I actually had a lot of people asking me about it. A friend of mine gave me a scan of the unit patch from the limited edition Hellsing volume 2 DVD. I passed it on to a friend of mine serving in Korea. They have a lot of embroidery places that do military patches around the US bases in Korea. So he was able to get a bunch made for me for pretty cheap!

Here's another photo of us posed. I guess I am providing covering fire for the sniper while we make a stand against the oncoming ghouls. He's taking long shots with his PSG-1 while I am taking on closer targets with an MP-5K. We were forced to retreat soon after this photo...

Uh... a big black cat thing... That's one big Plushie!!! Me want!
Some ADV girls... Sinclair was hanging out at this booth all day, so it's only natural he took a picture. @_@ If I looked like those girls, I wouldn't be working for ADV, that's for
sure! (There was a perfectly good Geneon booth right
across the way!)

Snake from Metal Gear Solid engages an enemy sniper at point blank range! I hope Snake has a lot of rations stockpiled...
A group of Disgaea cosplayers. Don't know much about it but they make a very showy cosplay group.
A lovely cosplayer from Alichino... I need wings too! ;_;
Terry Bogard and another Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury. Sinclair keeps pressuring me into cosplaying as Mai, but I told him that he doesn't make nearly enough money (yet) to afford that kind of special treatment, honey!
Blue fairy girl... I cannot identify who she is dressed as but that's a cool costume isn't it?
A very pretty Misha from Pita Ten! This dress was very impressive up close and the photo does not do it justice. She did a great job with the hair and ornaments as well. One of the best Misha costumes I have seen!
