When using an SLR, the light reacts quite differently with the snow. I have taken only one picture with snow on the ground and you are looking at it.

It probably could be a lot better than it is if I knew how to adjust the setting better for these conditions. Although it is not technically good, it came out with a gloomy effect. I think it looks alright for a mistake. So here it is.
