Camporee May 10-12, 2002 We will be meeting at St. Christopher's Church on Friday May 10, 2002 at 5:30 PM. All Scouts must have their current medical forms with them. Parents will need to pickup their Scout on Sunday May 12, 2002 at St. Christopher's Church starting at 11:00 am. Court of Honor Will be Tuesday, May 28th, 2002 in Saint Christopher's Church Hall at 7:00 PM. Scouts should arrive at 6:30 PM for setup. All parents please attend. This is when we take the whole meeting to acknowledge the accomplishments of the Scouts. Topics will include: Awards, Past Activities, Upcoming Events, Summer Camp, Pancake Breakfast, and Scout Expo.
Scout Expo When: Saturday, June 1, 2002 From: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Where: Santa Anita Race Track - Infield Arcadia, CA Enter through Gate 6, Colorado Place Road Cost: $5.00 per family See a Cub Scout in Pack 433 to purchase your ticket in advance or tickets may be purchase at the gate on the day of the event.
Troop 433's Annual Pancake Breakfast When: Sunday, June 9, 2002 Where: St. Christopher's Church, West Covina Time: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM Menu: Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, French Toast, Orange Juice, Coffee, and Milk Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event or you can buy your ticket in advance from any Boy Scout in the Troop. The proceeds from this Pancake Breakfast will help send the Scouts from the Troop to their summer camp. Summer camp is the highlight of the Troop's annual program. Scouts apply the skills that they have been learning and dreaming about all year. With an hour of program each week, the Troop spends 52 hours doing Scouting a year, but one week of long-term camping may provide 70 or more hours of concentrated program. Summer camp is a year's worth of adventure compressed into 7 days! So, please help the Scouts of Troop 433 reach this goal and support them on June 9, 2002, at their annual Pancake Breakfast.
