Lumberjack day starts with a pancake breakfast, soap box derby, car show and parade.
After the parade the competition begins.
I enter the axe throw.
I had a good time and took third place this year.
You can see the beer flowing from the bull's eye in the left picture.(a shaken up beer is the bull's eye)
I was in a three way tie for first but wound up in third place after the sudden death throw off.
In the picture below you can see the beer spew from the can but unfortunately the axe fell out of the target thus it is counted as a miss.
Taking second place last year I feel good having been in a three way tie for first place even though I finished in third place.
Emma (LadyELM) and I celebrated our 40th anniversary that day also.
